Hollywood, California, - TAIKOPROJECT, the Arabic-Japanese musical fusion of bass pounding oversized drums, performed their Rhythmic Relations 2013 at the John Anson Ford Theatre in Hollywood on June 29th 2013.
The award winning TAIKOPROJECT, which consists of numerous drumming groups Bombu Taiko, Kitsune Taiko, Loma Pacific Taiko and Tanuki Taiko, have performed around the world with musical superstars Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, Usher, John Legend and Justin Bieber. www.taikoproject.com The group is managed by Bryan Yamami.
The incredibly talented top Middle Eastern percussionist, Amir Sofi, joined the drumming sensation with his powerful instrument, the darbuka (goblet drum) to compliment their traditional taiko drums, koto (Japanese harp) and custom made marimbas in the second half.
