Last night, actor and Scream Queens’ star Glen Powell along with LA insiders celebrated On Dobel Time – Maestro Dobel Tequila’s multi-city program, which takes guests on a journey into the world of time pieces in partnership with Hodinkee, a leader in original horology content.
Held at Greenhouse at Platform LA, the space was portioned into the shape of a clock face that featured 5 visually stunning bars, representing stops in time. The evening featured revered, handpicked collector wrist watches curated by Hodinkee's founder Benjamin Clymer and paired with Maestro Dobel’s meticulously crafted variants to highlight the art and precision of both spirit and time.
Maestro Dobel Silver, Maestro Dobel Reposado, Maestro Dobel Añejo, Maestro Dobel Humito and the complicated rule breaker Maestro Dobel Diamante, were each paired with collector watches, including 1940’s Rolex Datejust Reference 1601, Vetta Triple-Calendar With Chronograph, 1970’s Breitling ‘sprint’ Reference 2016, 1960’s Piaget Reference 12303, and 1960’s Patek Philippe Calatrava Reference 3445 in Yellow Gold as they exhibited the properties most represented by each expression.
Delicious cocktails, breathtaking collector watches, and music by DJ Eric D-Lux Lux made for a perfect night worth stopping the clock for.
