Russell Simmons Launches New ADD Media Company
October 16, 2013, Los Angeles- Russell Simmons launched his ADD (All Def Digital) Comedy night at the Inside Jokes Comedy Club with an amazing star studded red carpet premiere. Comedian Tony Rock, brother of comedian Chris Rock, hosted the hilarious event at the historical TCL Chinese 6 theatre in Hollywood.
Some of the celebrities in attendance included: Russell Simmons, rapper Bizzy Bone, Steve Lobel, visual effects expert John Textor, Trista Pisani, Greg Centineo, rapper Sticky Fingaz, rapper Fredro Starr, actors Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart, film director Christy Oldham, film producer Clinton H. Wallace, actor Affion Crockett, actress Gabriella Wright, actor Mehcad Brooks, actor Tone Bell, actor Bill Duke, filmmaker Sheldon Candis, BET president Stephen Hill, Mu Johnson and TV host Kenny Burns.
Inside Jokes Comedy Club is a theatre style comedy club in the heart of Hollywood, located inside the famous TCL Chinese 6 Theatres at the Hollywood and Highland complex. It is a joint partnership between comedian Chris Spencer and entrepreneur Jeru Tillman.
All Def Digital (ADD) is a new generation media company launched by Russell Simmons to specifically target the YouTube platform. It is comprised of an original content YouTube channel, production company, record label and music/comedy talent management companies. ADD is quickly becoming the hub for urban entertainment.
