The L.A. Convention Center becomes the ultimate destination for those passionate about worldwide travel when The Los Angeles Times Travel and Adventure show, the nation's largest consumer travel expo, comes to town on March 19th and 20th. This 2-day exhibition, packed with expert advice, topical panel discussions and destination workshops will help you plan for any adventure, from the most thrilling to the most chill locations around the globe.

The travel show is sure to help you find the right vacation be it jet-set traveling or a road trip excursion. But finding the best deals and perfecting your itinerary is only part of what will be presented. This event also features tips from industry experts, authors and travel show personalities like Sandra Brown (Travel Channel) , Arthur Frommer (Frommer's Travel Guides), Huell Howser (California's Gold), Andrew McCarthy (actor and winner of the Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism Competition) and Rick Steves (Rick Steves' Europe) will headline the Los Angeles Times Travel Stage.

The five-acre show floor will be packed with more than 400 exhibitors where attendees can enjoy a variety of activities including scuba lessons from from Beadiver.com, rock climbing a 25-foot rock wall provided by Yosemite's Tenaya Lodge, a rope steering experience offered by the Coyote Springs Ranch in Mariposa and a zip line high above the show floor will be provided by Go Zip.
The Global Beat Stage, sponsored by the World Heritage Cultural Center, will showcase music and dance from India, Ireland, Taiwan, Australia, Japan, the Middle East and Brazil. Highlights include Thai boxing, Bollywood step dance, belly dancing and Flamenco.
Exhibitors will also be providing one-on-one consultations on visiting destinations as near as Catalina Island and as far as Indonesia. Tour operators and travel professionals representing locations around the globe, various modes of transportation and recreation and related products and services will be on hand all weekend, offering information and specials for show attendees.
The Los Angeles Times Travel & Adventure Show’s sponsors include the Automobile Club of Southern California, Taiwan, Acura and KTLA. The event will take place at the L.A.
