It's not easy to make a come back, but comedian actress Kim Coles has obviously done it. With the help of director Scotch Ellis Loring, Kim has created a one woman show giving us personal insight on what makes a comic of Kim's ability tick.
Having begun her Hollywood journey when she became the runner up in the Big Beautiful Woman Pageant in Atlantic City, she rode the wave to plus size modeling and found that she had a talent for the comic as she tangled with the crème of comedy, Bill Cosby and the queen of television, Orpah Winfrey.
Truly a renaissance woman, and a pioneer in many ways, Kim, known for her zany characters as "Synclaire" on Fox's Living Single as well as numerous other shows (Frasier, Six Feet Under, In Living Color and TBS's comedy series 10 Items Or Less), gives us lessons on life, spirituality, relationships and growing up Hollywood style.
Sometimes you'll laugh, sometimes you'll cry, but always you'll enjoy this hilarious lady.
Kim is also the author of the best selling book, "I'm Free, But It Will Cost You: The Single Life According to Kim Coles.
We all have ups and downs, and life, Kim says, is like a roller coaster, but we can find a way to stay afloat by finding joy and being grateful. In addition to her acting, Kim has found a way to empower people by combing comedy and inspiration so that each viewer can assess their own grateful gifts and share then with the world.
