On April 29th Newport Beach California transformed into a time reminiscent of the French Riviera with glamour and decadent luxury in abundance for a “Pre-Cannes” Yacht party. Celebrating French fashion and film, the exclusive invitation-only event was produced by It’s so LA’s Kellie Koppel and Mamz’ elle Margalette’s Stephanie Audoin. After walking a red carpet, elite guest were ushered aboard the luxury yacht “Paradiso” by beautiful models in designer garments.
After proceeding up the spiral staircase, guest were met by a statuesque man De’Leon from De’Leon’s Heavenly Hands who provided complimentary massages to guest while they sipped chilled coconut water. Meanwhile, other VIP’s excitedly placed bids for designer and luxury items in a silent auction. Others mingled throughout the main deck, all indulging in a hosted bar flowing with delicious specialty drinks courtesy of Status Vodka, Tequila Loca, Leucadia Winery, Cascal Fermented Soda, Activate Nutrient- Rich Water and O.N.E. Coconut Water.
On the exterior deck various media outlets conducted interviews with celebrities from fashion, film, music and industry VIP's, all dressed in their Sunday best while soaking up the breathtaking ambiance of the harbor while being treated to white glove service. Entertainment on board was provided with impeccable timing which allowed the elite the ability to converse while being exposed to various fashions. Attractive male and female models walked along the deck wearing the latest trends from French designers showcasing collections from La Marinier de Jean Paul Gaultier MEN, BOBO-House by Eloise Lapidus, Cosmo Queen, Babylone, Grace, Jen Mood, and Kami Shade .
On the upper deck, Makeup artist Heidi Giselle Partida owner of Darling Devils adorned the faces of various ladies with crystal jewels in unique patterns and colors to compliment their attire.
On the exterior celebrity DJ’s Sonikem, Christos Kedras, and Sadi Malkosh rocked the boat with music which drew onlookers from the harbor who desired admittance. Various guests with a taste palette for music made their way upstairs and sat at round tables with exquisite linens anticipating the live musical performance of Australian superstar Vassy. Minutes later the pint sized star with exotic features and a sultry voice captivated the crowd, further reinforcing her “superstar” status.
It’s So LA™ and Mamz’elle Margalette partnered to bring the French fashion scene to LA and the “LA experience” to the French. Undoubtedly, the yacht party captured the essence of the French Riviera in honor of the Cannes Film Festival. The celebration also honored Kellie Koppel (Owner of Its So LA’s) web series appropriately titled “It's So LA” which was recently chosen to showcase at the Cannes Film Festival. Although the exclusive event was invite only, the host recently extended a perk for individuals with a love for labels and luxury!
