It’s our favorite time of the year again, time for The Golden Globes! The Golden Globe Awards is an accolade bestowed by the 93 members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) that recognizes excellence in film and television worldwide. The annual formal ceremony and dinner at which the awards are presented is a major part of the film industry's awards season, which has always played a huge role in Los Angeles and culminates each year with the Academy Awards. Located in glamorous Beverly Hills the 70th Golden Globes will take place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel January 13, 2013.

HFPA and producer Dick Clark Productions present The 70th Annual Golden Globes Awards, which will be hosted by the dynamic duo Amy Poehler and Tina Fey. Celebrating television and motion picture achievements this live, star-studded award show will showcase the best of the best throughout the year and will promise not to disappoint. Seen in more than 160 countries worldwide, this award show is one of the few that covers a wide array of topics in both television as well as motion picture achievements.

In anticipation of tonight’s Golden Globe Awards, Moët & Chandon – the official Champagne of the iconic award’s show for the past 22 years – feted the Weinstein Company’s nominations, including Django Unchained, The Master and Silver Linings Playbook, Saturday evening at the upscale Mr. C’s in Beverly Hills.

Attendees included Kerry Washington, Amy Adams, Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, Christoph Waltz, Joaquin Phoenix, Harvey Weinstein, Don Johnson and Chris Tucker. Members of the HFPA gathered to toast the nominees, who were all hopeful for a big win at today’s Golden Globe Awards.

Moët presented the nominees with magnums embellished with Swarovski crystals with the names of their nominated films. Harvey Weinstein was working the room with his talent, celebrating his many nominations. The Weinstein Company (TWC) is a multimedia production and Distribution Company launched in October 2005 by Bob and Harvey Weinstein, the brothers who founded Miramax Films in 1979. TWC also encompasses Dimension Films, the genre label founded in 1993 by Bob Weinstein. Together TWC and Dimension Films have released a broad range of mainstream, genre and specialty films that have been commercial and critical successes.
