Model, actress, and producer, Lily Lisa has many passions but there is one in particular that drives her a bit differently than other goals she aspires to achieve. She loves motorsport racing. Lily is a vivacious risk taker that enjoys the dare to end up in the winner’s circle.
This past weekend at the “Long Beach Grand Prix” Lily made her way behind the scenes making new friends with successful racing team. This Oriental beauty was able to witness history be made with the first Asian American Driver to win the “Long Beach Grand Prix” and first Japanese driver in history to win an Indy Race. When Takuma Sato, whom racing legend A.J. Foyt hired this year for his IndyCar race team won the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach on Sunday to become the first Japanese driver to win an IndyCar event “Lucky Lily” was there to see history for both the driver and other Asians around the world.
After driver Takuma Sato parked in Victory Lane, some of Sato's crew members lifted him on their shoulders in celebration and when he got down, he spotted Lily and made instant new friends. Nonetheless, Lily is an entrepreneur too and not only attended as a fan but with the passion to possibly get involved in its world through marketing and in recruiting teams that she hopes one day can connect with more Asian Drivers.
“I would love to one day see a Chinese Driver in the seat at the Long Beach Grand Prix too, and I made many new friends to introduce the Chinese community and racing teams’ too.” said Lily. Lily is forming a new company with American sport entertainment groups to move her and other’s visions forward to placing more Asian’s in the driver’s seat in American racing.
“I feel very lucky to have made many new friends in racing that day, and I look forward to many more new friends I would love to make in the world of professional racing” said Lily.
