Doma Musical Theatre
The elegant buffet and presentation at the Arena Club last night announced the new musical season of Doma Theatre. Well known for its superb presentations despite its small space, Doma once again has an array of wonderful musicals for us to behold this year. Tonight, they announced four. There will be two more -- but surprises - later in the season.

Doma: Michael Abramson
Presenting the evening were assistant director Michael Abramson, and founding partners Dolf Ramos and Marco Gomez.
Starting on March 1st, we will start with Dreamgirls, followed by Sweet Charity on May 17; Scarlet Pimpernel on August 2 and Bloody, Bloody Andrew Jackson on Oct 18, 2013. Due to the extreme popularity of the performances, the shows have been extended by several weeks.

Doma: Dolf Ramos
We saw a peaks of the extravagant yet elegant costumes for shows as well as numerous presentations of the professionally performed songs. You will scarcely believe the excellent quality of the work.

Doma: Marco Gomez
Christopher Basile, director of Bloody, Bloody Andrew Jackson, talked about our 7th president's popularity, despite his racist views and problems with the Native Americans, and the intricacy of the play. Performing the song "Populism Yea Yea" were Lovlee Carroll, Janelle Dole, Tim Heart, and Bradley Sattler while Jon Paul Burkhart sang "Into The Fire" from the Scarlet Pimpernel and Dreamgirls Tyra Dennis, Adair Gilliam, and Jennifer Colby Talton performed that title song. From the play Sweet Charity, Lovlee Carroll and Janelle Dole gave us "Hey, Big Spender."

Doma: Sweet Charity
Catering for the evening was done by Hollywood's Fabiolus Italian restaurant with delicious salads, pastas and chicken dishes.
