The crowd cheered the midnight countdown as host Mario Lopez and celebrity guests guided thousands of participants into the New Year. One of the most elaborate New Year's Eve Bashes ever took over the world famous Kodak Theatre Complex and Grand Ballroom at Hollywood and Highland in the heart of Hollywood.
Performing this evening were various celebrity groups as chart topping Artists Cobra Starship, Rock Mafia and Grammy winner Lupe Fiasco. Rapper Lupe, signed to Atlantic Records, just debuted his album Lasers. It quickly reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. The album features singles as "Show Goes On" and "Out of My Head." "The Show Goes On" is nominated for a 2012 Grammy for the "The Show Goes On."
Feet tapped as the Cobra Starship sang "You Make Me Feel" from their album NIght Shades. Featured on popular shows as" Jersey Shore" (MTV) and "The Hills", the group has been heating up the billboard airwaves with their highest Billboard charting album "Hot Mess."
Rock Mafia, a well known production and song writing team, has written for a number of young artists like Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez. Recently, their song "The Big Bang" had massive viral success and the video featured Miley Cyrus and Kevin Zegers. Also the theme song for the VH1 series "Mob Wives", the Big Bang has had over 10 million views on YouTube.
Actor , television personality Mario Lopez, is the single host of the nationally syndicated EXTRA. He's also a New York Times bestselling author of the book Extra Lean and is working on the follow ups, Extra Lean Family and Mario Lopez's Knockout Fitness. He currently also hosts MTV's America's Best Dance Crew.
The red carpet, which started at nine, lasted through the evening with celebrities as Kimberly Cole (singer "You Make Me Wanna;") Annie Ilonzeh (Charlie's Angels and Entourage"); Nikki Ziering, Karina Bliss, BG5 Girls (Brooke, Dominique Domingo, Mandy Jiroux, Laura New, and Noreen Juliano); Josh Sussman, Bryce Vine Johnson (who was just signed by a "big" label), Damian Mcginty, and Cameron Mitchell of Glee. Also there were the Antoniana Armato (singer /producer) ,Master P, Romeo, EQLive Group, Aquile, Heath Pearce (US Soccer champion), Neal Macdonough ("Captain America" and "Minority Report".) Spinning was Connor Cruise aka DJ C-Squared.

The Kaldi sells for $179 and makes delicious coffee, tea and expresso at the push of a button. They also had their delicious cocktail - blackberry tea mixed with vodka - that many indulged in.
Food by Wolfgang Puck, unfortunately, quickly ran out. Other sponsors included Scooch TV, DLG - Deep Lifestyle Group, and Bud Light.
Prices for this special New Year evening festivities went from $75 (person) to $650 with tables going at $1500-3500.
