Pearl - L.A.'s Hotspot

Walking up to the door you'd think you were trying to get into the White House.  Seven beefy bouncers surround the entrance joking with each other and selecting the hottest women to move up in line.  If you're lucky enough to get inside, and willing to cough up the $20 cover, all of your senses are immediately assaulted' but in a good way.

The first dance floor is flooded with colored lights and loud music provided by the deejay whose booth is nestled high above the bar as to not be mobbed by drunken club goers requesting the likes of Britney Spears or Madonna.  The music you're most likely to hear is along the hip hop and rap line, allowing for up-close and borderline inappropriate dance moves.  VIP tables surround a stage where two sexy go-go dancers do their thing.  These uber-hot entertainers shake their tail feathers while wearing next to nothing, before breaking for a costume change into something just as sizzling.

Hallway connecting the dance floors

Once the party has started more doors are opened and you are welcome to roam the seductively lit hallway lined with plush couches and candlelit tables leading into the next dance floor.  This room is a bit more low key, those not as privileged as VIPs can sit free of charge and watch others shaking it down.  Private parties are held here so if it's your birthday be sure to reserve the room for you and 80 of your closest friends.

Just past the bar, this one lacking the deejay loft, there is yet another door leading outside to the low-lit patio where you can take a break from the loud music and order from the four-star dining menu.  The outdoor ambiance and modern decor is extremely endearing, pulling you into a little haven away from the bustling streets of West Hollywood.  You may even sneak a peek at a movie star or two if you're lucky.

Pearl holds many star-studded events in their venue; rappers like R. Kelly and rockers like Ozzy Osbourne have all adorned the dance floors, some renting out the club for private parties, others just hanging out on a Saturday night.  ABC's The Bachelor wrapped their season here and legendary actor Samuel L. Jackson celebrated his birthday at Pearl.  This ultra-hip night club is loved by many of Hollywood's finest.

Overall, a night at Pearl is one to remember.  With loud music, strong drinks, fabulous people and great atmosphere it is impossible to have anything but a good time.
