On January 11th, 2006 Aqua Restaurant and Lounge premiered in true Beverly Hills style. Just off Beverly Drive down a sleek black stairwell, where the notorious Flynt Hustler Club once thrived, Aqua now brings the 'under the sea' restaurant and lounge. Once again the uber-chic, elites, and celebs flocked in for the event.

Tempo was downbeat early evening with a more upbeat flavor after ten as Aqua is the last spot to offer live entertainment and dancing in Beverly Hills.
Guests mingled among giant fish tanks and intimate tables in the coral dining room and VIP golden lounge, feasting on small bites with big flavors -- crab cakes with avocado relish, roasted short rib-potato pancakes topped with morel sauce, and other delicacies. The tasty Asian 'tapas style faire' was washed down with level vodka cocktails, Peroni Beer and Rutherford wine.
