The Jeffrey Foundation “Circle of Love” - Upcoming Functions to Raise Money for Special Needs Children

The Jeffrey Foundation, a non-profit organization that strives to improve the quality of life for special needs children and their families through the development of community-based therapeutic, recreational, educational, and social programs, has two great fundraising events coming up that you can participate in.

Mrs. Beverly Cohen chair of the “Circle of Love” support group of The Jeffrey Foundation will celebrate her birthday On April 16th and tour the Jeffrey Foundation Family Resource Center at 5443 Washington Blvd and then off to the Four Seasons Hotel for the luncheon party 12:30 pm at 300 S. Doheny Dr., Los Angeles, CA 90048 a donation of $150.00 Per Person.

The Jeffrey Foundation offers early intervention, after school and recreation programs for special needs and low income children and counseling for their parents. The event was also a celebration of the 43rd anniversary of The Jeffrey Foundation which was founded by Mrs. Alyce Morris Winston in 1972 in honor of her son, Jeffrey, who passed away from Muscular Dystrophy. Since opening in 1972, The Jeffrey Foundation has expanded the scope of their services and today; no other agency provides such a wide range of services for disabled and at-risk children and their families

This past March 14th, California State Senator Holly Mitchell presented  the “Community Champion Award” at The Jeffrey Foundation Center. Senator Holly Mitchell as the key note speaker and joined other agencies that serve special needs children and their families.
