Shade Hotel Redondo Beach Pre-Opening Charity Watch Event - Six Years in the Making

Shade Hotel Redondo Beach opened its doors to the South Bay on October 2nd with an event that also partnered with the Los Angeles Rams Foundation and donated one hundred percent of the proceeds to the Foundation. While also introducing guests to this breathtaking luxury hotel, they were also treated to a Rams watch party along with getting to spend the day with a number RAMS legends.

Michael Zislis, Owner of Zislis Group, after six years was happy to get to introduce the second member of the Shade family to the public. His first hotel has been a large success for years in Manhattan Beach and the Redondo Beach version incredibly might just top it.

Michael and his family along with Ram legend Rosey Grier and Redondo Beach Mayor Steve Aspel performed the ribbon cutting ceremony. After the ceremony guests were able to watch the Rams defeat the Arizona Cardinals from the rooftop of Shade Hotel while enjoying some of the fantastic food along with cocktails that will be offered at the hotel.

Shade Hotel offers 54 luxurious rooms with picturesque views of the marina, and they also allow you to enjoy the ocean breezes and warm natural light. Taking your experience to a whole new level beyond all of the  enticing amenities, including state of the art technology, each room features a separate lounge area adjacent to the bedroom.

Fabulous Food

While the hotel is amazing and everything that goes with it was created to perfection, Michael always makes sure that guests will be wowed by the culinary aspect of anything he is involved with. Sea Level restaurant occupies the first level of Shade Redondo Beach’s fully-dedicated culinary and is open for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. Sea Level offers a chef-driven, farm-to-table menu.

You can experience the wide ranging cocktail program and a unique beer selection in the hotel as well at Aqua Deck, Shade’s rooftop pool area. This setting offers some of the best views around and you can also expect upscale seasonal pool parties.
