Mystical Magical Macbeth - Emmy Style Lounge - Share’s VIB Auction

Placido Domingo, arguably the world’s leading Tenor, has proven he has earned the same title as Baritone, starring in Macbeth, Verdi’s masterpiece at the gala opening of the Los Angeles Opera. An assortment of scary, slimy witch-like creatures with long tails, appeared in the foreboding opening scene - and throughout the opera, and added to the intensity of the dark tale.

Lady Macbeth is a difficult role for any actress/singer, particularly in her guilt-ridden sleep walking scene; but Russian mezzo-soprano, Ekaterina Semenchuk more than meets the challenge. Kudos to Darko Tresnjak, whose experience as a Shakespearean Director for the Old Globe Theater served him well. We were enchanted by this dramatic opera, and suggest you try to obtain tickets before October 13th when Macbeth’s mystical journey ends!

Some of these included Patrika Darbo, Jane Lynch, Jeffrey Bower Chapman and Dot Marie Jones (Glee) to name a few. Being a horror movie maven, enjoyed meeting Naomi Grossman (American Horror Story) & Hollywood Icon, Nichelle Nichols (Star Trek) still looking out-of-this world gorgeous.
