Let The Kids Grow Foundation’s Holiday Gala

The first annual Let The Kids Grow (LTKG) Foundation’s Holiday Gala took place on Saturday, December 1st, 2012 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, celebrating the inspiring individuals of the next generation featuring world-class entertainment, a one-of-a kind silent auction, dinner and dancing.  The Inaugural Black Tie Charity Ball was hosted by Let The Kids Grow founder, entrepreneur and media-mogul Percy “Master P” Miller and Simin Hashemizadeh, who supports various organizations in which her contributions to humanity have been recognized by numerous celebrities.

Let The Kids Grow Foundation was sponsored by South Pacific Surgery Centers, Serenity Sleep Labs at GR8SLEEP.com,  Bank of America, Walmart, Mass Mutual Financial Group,YF Corp, Beverly Hills Times, Women’s Entertainment TV, Celebrity Society Magazine, and many more.

The honorees of 2012 were successful philanthropist and owner of South Pacific Surgery Centers, Simin Hashemizadeh; rapper, actor and businessman Romeo Miller; Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning actress Kristie Alley; award-winning actor, director, producer Tyler Perry; television personality, actor and rapper Nick Cannon, Los Angeles Lakers Dwight Howard; KPWR’s Big Boy, Dr. Ralph Mayer and Dr. Shahrad Rahban.

Let The Kids Grow Foundation,  is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to address the problems of Los Angeles City’s undeserved and at-risk young children and teens through a well-rounded program focusing on out-of-school activities and family strengthening. "The LTKG organization promotes healthy relationships, and provides underserved youth valuable life experiences through activities including performing arts, film, and photography," said Percy “Master P” Miller.  "Our mission is to strengthen families through education and togetherness."

Guests included celebrities, socialites and Beverly Hills’ elite who joined the quest to make a difference and help support the cause and enjoyed live performance by Cymphonique Miller, “I Have Nothing” dedicated to Whitney Houston.

I had the great privilege to meet and speak to some of the most extraordinary people including the one and only beautiful Simin Hashemizadeh; legendary Freda Payne; media mogul Percy “Master P” Miller; talented rapper Romeo Miller and his amazing sister, actress and singer who voices Holly on the Disney Channel animated series Phineas & Ferb Cymphohique Miller; Honorable Mayor of Ontario Paul S. Leon and his lovely wife Cheryl Leon; actress, TV host and fashion model Eva Marcille; Persian singer Andy Madadian.
