The Black Tie Gala and benefit, for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society , `LLS', was held poolside at the Essex Skyline, a premier  high-rise luxury residential rental property, in very upscale Santa Ana, California.

Leukemia & Lymphoma Societyis the world's largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer. LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world and provides free information and support services. Expo 4 Life is a Health, Wellness & Lifestyle Event organization which put on the event, and raised over $20K for LLS.

There were 500 guest,  and elite Orange County personalities, including   Superbowl champ Cedrick Hardman, Ms. America  Robin Griffin, Ms. Laguna Niguel  Brandi Walshe, and Angels Baseball Chairman  Dennis Kuhl.

The Fashion Show at the end of the evening featured exquisite lingerie by   La Perla.

The fashion show also included Menswear and Better Womenswear,  featuring fashion lines by  Max Mara,  and Hugo Boss.

Throughout the evening  OC Restaurant vendors provided samples galore. Including such high-end restaurants as Anqi, Seasons 52, Charlie Palmer, Mortons, Presto Ristorante,  Tommy Bahama Laguna Beach, and the Bluewater Grill.  I can personally attest to the amazing food from all these restaurants, as my wife and I dine at them frequently. I especially love the Vibe at Anqi, and the deserts at Seasons 52.

There were a dozen or more Silent auctions with offerings as diverse a exotic Spa visits, La Perla lingerie, and a Monday Getaway in a Lamborghini Gallardo, donated by Lamborghini Newport Beach .

A great time was had by all, and most importantly, the Gala raised money for a very worthwhile cause.

I'm booked through July with events I'll be photographing and writing about for LA Splash Magazine.  With great diversity, events in Los Angeles  such as the Labyrinth Masquerade Ball July 4 & 5, a neo-Burlesque Party called Trapeze July 12, and then down to La Jolla for the La Jolla Fashion Film Festival, July 24-26. I'm also working on a multi-part article about the Life and Art of an amazing artist, Julian Ritter.
