Serving tens of thousands of members in 150 countries, Drawing Hope is a charitable organization that – through art – serves survivors of abuse and other life struggles.  Completely unique in their approach to drawing survivors of rape and sexual abuse out of shame, Drawing Hope helps survivors connect with their own strength, beauty, sensuality and freedom.

The glamorous evening will focus on one of Drawing Hope’s many powerful projects, Points With Purpose.  Founded by celebrity artist David Ilan (who’s famous subjects include Scarlett Johansson, David Beckham, Jerry Seinfeld), Points With Purpose uses David’s Pointillism technique, which is drawing using only dots – little dots that have changed and saved lives.  For every survivor who signs up for Points With Purpose, one, free, hand-drawn dot is placed in a portrait.  One dot equals one survivor and the dots come together to resent a survivor who feels confident, proud and beautiful.  “Knowing that one of those dots resents me, makes me feel a little less invisible, and a little less alone,” says a 31-year-old survivor and member of 2 years.

Ilan says, “Accepting a dot in the portrait is instantly a statement of strength and confidence.  We want every survivor out there to know there is a community where they can find support for healing and inspiration to live big ‐ no more hiding.”

Shantel VanSanten (One Tree Hill) will sent an award to the inspiring, Pranaadhika Sinha Devburman, one of Drawing Hope’s members. When she was just eleven years old, Devburman founded a support group for survivors, which grew and blossomed into what is today Elaan, an outreach and support NGO that is transforming the approach to supporting survivors in India.  Devburman is a tremendous supporter of Points With Purpose and has said, “My dot in the Points With Purpose portrait did more than prove that I exist. After years of having my truth denied, and even denying the truth myself, I feel my dot proves that my story is true.”

Guests will have a rare opportunity to feast on the culinary delights of chef to the stars, Kai Chase.   Featured on Good Morning America, The Today Show, Larry King Live, Chase is known for tantalizing the taste buds of Hollywood’s heavy hitters with a fusion of traditional and exotic tastes.  Her cookbook titled, “Fit For a King…Recipes Inspired by my Culinary Journey as the Personal Chef to Michael Jackson” will hit bookstores winter 2012.

Honored to be part of the important night, Chase says, “As a woman, I understand the sanctity of our bodies being our temples.   As a Chef, one of my missions is to keep people's bodies nourished.  Cooking for this event is a way of showing support for women who have gone through traumatic experiences, and need to be uplifted!” Currently setting the music world on fire, Jasmine Villegas or “Jasmine V”, fresh off Justin Bieber’s, My World Tour, she’s known to her fans as Justin Bieber’s love interest in his mega hit “Baby” video, Sony Epic is about to release her album, and has over one million followers on Twitter @JasmineVillegas, (www.jasminevmusic.com, will be showing her support of the charity by headlining the entertainment for the event.  Other musical acts include, Sultradelix (hip-hop-soul-funk lead singer Alma Carlson), and Michelle Chappel (Billboard-Awardee Singer-Songwirter).  Staff for the evening will be in masquerade costume, creating a wonderfully revealing event as we remove the mask of shame and celebrate individuals who have made a difference for all of us. There will be a silent and live auction, featuring exclusive items like a private cooking lesson with celebrity chef, Kai Chase and a Pink Fender Squire electric guitar signed by celebrities including Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top, Chaka Khan, Lil Jon, Sheila E., Jasmine V. and more.

Event produced by Gavin Keilly of GBK Productions and Jolson Creative Image PR is handling the celebrity outreach and media relations.
