The art show featured a number of talented artists including private works by Banksy, Retna and Kaws.

Art Curator Warren Brand of Branded Arts launched the event. The Santa Monica Boys & Girls club location is very dear to his heart. Brand shares that he used to attend the exact same club as a child and played on the outdoor basketball courts that still stand today.

Branded Arts also auctioned off beautifully adorned basketballs created by renowned artists featuring their own personal spin and signature style. All of the proceeds went towards the Boys & Girls club of Santa Monica.

An outdoor bar and food truck made sure guests paired their art with a great refreshment and a meal to match. What can possibly beat music, art and food? How about the fact that it was all for a great cause benefiting our young leaders of tomorrow!

Creative Basketball piece

An artist who goes by the name Bumble Bee Loves You made quite the statement with an amazing eye catching wood art taller than an NBA player! The beautifully illustrated kid basketball player went by the name of  “ Benchwarmer.”

So what does this piece represent?

“It represents me as a child, I was always picked last. They never really picked me or put me in to play.”- Bumble Bee Loves You
