At $90 per person, guests were treated to an evening complete with a silent auction, unlimited wine sampling, and an all-you-can-eat buffet of the best foods LA restaurants had to offer. From Truffles to Thai, it was all there and all delicious. Top that off with an exquisite glass of wine or twelve, a psychic reading, a hand of poker, and a henna tattoo and you had the makings for an excellent night out.

When guests didn't have their mouths full of creme brulee, they were bumping elbows with the dozens of celebrities such as Arrested Development star Jason Bateman who was the honorary co-chair of the event, as well as Dennis Haysbert from 24, Dr. Robert Rey from Dr. 90210, Jean Louisa Kelly from Yes Dear, Eric Millegan from Over There, and many others who came out to show their support for the Los Angeles Free Clinic.

The Los Angeles Free Clinic was certainly a great cause to support and boy did they ever know how to throw a party. "The Extravaganza of the Senses" is one of The Los Angeles Free Clinic's largest annual fundraisers. The Event generated more than $200,000 last year for the Clinic's vital services which include a full range of high quality free medical, dental and social services to the homeless, the uninsured, the working poor, and high- risk youth. The Clinic provides over 78,000 patient visits annually that include a wide range of heath services for men, women and children. Thousands utilize the Clinic as a medical home as they have nowhere else to turn for heath and human services. "We count on events such as the Extravaganza of the Senses to provide vital funding so that we can continue meeting this ever increasing need," states Jeff Bujer, Co-CEO of the Clinic.

Although it was difficult to tire of the food and wine, every stomach has a limit. Luckily you could walk off the calories by taking a tour of the hundreds of items available at the silent auction, including a walk on role in "King of Queens," an audition to become an E! News correspondent, autographed Tommy Lee drumsticks, a two night stay at the San Ysidro Ranch and of course, countless meals at LA's best restaurants. There was also a tent full of psychics, as well a a henna tattoo artist who was a particular favorite among the ladies wearing backless dresses.

In retrospect, the modest cover price was a fraction of what this amazing night was worth. Great food, great wine, and best of all, great cause.
