"The Dogs Next Door" Hollywood Celebrity Benefit for DogsInDanger.com - "Pound Puppies, Pools and Pizazz"

Beverly Hills June 14, 2008 - Reality television’s elite stars and their canine companions joined together on Saturday, June 14th to celebrate "Reality Cares' Dogs Next Door" an event benefiting the non profit organization, Dogs In Danger. Dogs In Danger is an animal welfare organization, which was recently featured on ' Oprah!' for their work in raising awareness of the number of dogs being killed in shelters and helping to save their lives through pet adoption. The afternoon event was held at Michael Scott's lush and beautifully appointed Beverly Park estate.  It was apparent from the very first greeting that this was not just another fundraiser, but a fun opportunity to raise money for a cause very close to the hearts of the stars.


Shana Wall, from "The Amazing Race," and Dogs In Danger spokesperson, was a warm host, greeting guests and reminding them that every loving dog should have a loving home.  Actor Jai Rodriguez, outgoing star of Animal Planet's "Groomer Has It," emceed a Doggy Fashion Show, featuring four legged models saved from euthanasia by Dogs In Danger.  Rodriguez's humorous commentary was enthusiastic but ever mindful of the organization's mission, and the grim sentence that once faced these runway models.  

Celebrities in attendance included: Ryan Seacrest, Maria Menounos, Shana Wall, Deborah Gibson, Michael Maloney, Ileana Douglas, James Madio, Ariel Winters, Rebecca Cardon, Tian Kitchen, Mike O'Hearn, Lisa FOXX, Ania Migdal, Arianne Zucker, Brandy Yant, Carolyn Hennesy, Jai Rodriquez, Jeff Sutphen, Jesse Daly, Joanna Cassidy, Kristen Renton, Lindsay Crolius, Lorena Segura, Erin Hamilton, Matt Grant, , Morgan Lily, Zane Huett and many more.

'The Dogs Next Door' was a family-friendly event, attendees were encouraged to bring their bathing suits and splash around in the pool or take a rejuvenating dip in the mineral bath. Fun activities for kids included an arcade game room, bowling alley, pool table and so much more. Guests of the private estate were delighted in the breathtaking views and enjoyed having their fortune read while sipping on cocktails and rocking out to music by DJ Dimitri Hamlin.
