Los Angeles, CA (June 8, 2005) – Silver Spoon Entertainment Marketing hosted the Silver Spoon Hollywood Buffet at a private Beverly Hills estate on Thursday, June 2nd and Friday, June 3rd to help stars prepare for the MTV Movie Awards*.  The 2-day long event catered to celebrities and trendsetters with an indulgent Hawaiian luau theme and an enticing array of edgy fashions, luscious beauty products, and delectable cuisine.  Hipster brands were displayed in a complimentary “buffet” like setting.

Attendees all contributed $20 to help raise $10,000 for the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation (EBMRF), a non-profit that works to relieve the suffering of children with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a life threatening genetic skin disease, by providing funds for research and raising awareness of the disease.

The Silver Spoon Hollywood Buffet is a relaxation destination for celebrities, stylists and media.  The buffet is normally held before major award shows as a way for talent to prepare and enjoy themselves.  Buffet guests were gifted with unique designer clothing from boutique brands like Rock Solid’s sequined and embroidered shirts, Crimes and Misdemeanors’s beaded tank tops and Chan Luu’s embellished apparel.  They were also able to select jewelry from Gorjana, Lee Riot and Holly Lauren and choose from Allison Burns Los Angeles’ gorgeous colorful leather handbag collection.

Tarte gifted makeup and helped stars sample new looks.  Attendees prepped for the bright lights of the red carpet by a choice of tanning services: Sunset Tan tanning beds or California Tan Sunless spray tanning.  Biolage Matrix fashioned hair while Ceilbre Laser performed skincare treatments and MB York shaped eyebrows and extended eyelashes.   Guests were also treated to goodies including the latest in blue tooth technology for cell phones from Jabra.

Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) is a disabling and potentially life threatening genetic skin disease which causes the skin to tear and blister at a slight touch, requiring daily bandaging of wounds. The EBMRF was established to relieve the suffering of EB children by providing funds for research, with the goal of finding a cure and raising awareness of this disease.
