Red Hot at Red Seven Review - A Sizzling Night!

The Beautiful Red Fountains

The Red Hot @ Red Seven Event was hosted at Wolfgang Pucks’ newest restaurant, Red Seven in West Hollywood, one of the newest hotspots in Los Angeles, located in the spectacular Pacific Design Center.

Wolfgang Puck

Red Seven is the most amazing place and a wonderful venue for such a magnificent Event.  Most of the affair was held outside on a stunning Los Angeles night.  The view of the beautiful Pacific Design Center looming over us made a gorgeous backdrop.

Red Hot @ Red Seven, presented by Lexus, was to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of The American Food & Wine Festival, hosted by Wolfgang Puck and Barbara Lazaroff.

The Silent Auction

The evening’s celebration was held the night before the American Food & Wine Festival.  The evening was filled with bubbles by Moet & Chandon, including Moët & Chandon White Star, Moët & Chandon Rose, and Moët & Chandon Nectar Imperial, Newton Vineyard wines, Patron Tequila and spectacular beef.

Pick a Glass

LA’s famed DJ Jason Bentley, from KCRW set the mood with his musical entertainment.  The hot music he was playing beckoned the guests to dance.

Red Seven Sushi Served With a Smile

The Pacific Design Center’s famous fountains just outside Red Seven’s door were blazing red.  I was so mesmerized by their beauty that I had to take a lot of photos of them.  Having the fountains red just set everything off perfectly.

Cigar Afficianado's

Red Hot @ Red Seven featured an alluring Cigar Lounge, compliments of Cigar Aficionado Magazine, where soothing Johnnie Walker Scotch perfectly complemented the evening.

Smiling Chefs

We were served tastes of the most luscious food from:

♣    CUT and sidebar
♣    Katana
♣    Lawry’s The Prime Rib
♣    Red Seven
♣    Shake Shack New York
♣    SW Steakhouse Wynn, Las Vegas

Beef was definitely the reigning theme from most of the restaurants.

More Beef

As the food lovers entered, huge platters of rich, gourmet cheeses, breads and salami first greeted them.

Lots of Prime Rib

There were delicious French Dipped Prime Rib sandwiches from Lawry’s, who also served their famous yummy creamed corn and crispy, fried onions.

Lawry's Crispy Fried Onions

One of my favorite dishes was Beef Carpaccio, topped with arugula, and accompanied by a fried oyster. Mmmm.

Red Seven kept bringing out mountains of incredible appetizers like fresh grilled salmon in lettuce cups, fresh made sushi and sushi rolls, crispy shrimp, and one yummy thing after another.  Tender slices of medium-rare thick slices of beef were served by (chef: Ari Rosenson), of CUT, another of Wolfgang’s restaurants.

Tasty Beef Skewers

Katana's Beef Skewers

There were skewers of sweet, tender beef chunks, and just a plethora of tasty, hearty food.  Everything was delicious.

Most of the food was pretty elegant.  I’m not a big hamburger eater but when we tasted the hamburgers by the Shake Shack, accompanied by creamy chocolate malts, we were transformed!  All I can say is WOW, good thing they’re from New York (for the diet conscious).  People were saying they need to open one here.

We enjoyed libations compliments of:

♣    Johnnie Walker Scotch
