Reality TV Celebrity Event Raises Over $65,000 For P.S. I Love You Foundation and Launches World's First Reality TV Pitch Contest Larissa From Average Joe: Hawaii, Sarah from Joe Millionaire, & "Chip" and Reichen from The Amazing Race Attend Event with Dozens of Other Well-Known Celebrities

The P.S. I Love You Foundation held it's 4th Annual Celebrity Red, Black & White Casino Night and Fundraiser Gala on March 27, a major LA bash that featured dozens of reality celebrities from For Love or Money, Average Joe, Survivor, The Real World, The Bachelor, and Joe Millionaire. More than 600 guests attended the fundraising event, raising over $65,000 from the silent auction, ticket sales and donations.

The silent auction's biggest seller was a trip for two to Club Med from Crystal Blue Vacations. Other popular items included Lakers tickets, a trip to Hawaii and an adorable puppy that was adopted.

"The annual event has escalated each year in terms of funds raised and outside participation," said Patricia Jones, founder of P.S. I Love You Foundation. "This year's event was a great success, raising the most funds to date thanks to the supporting companies and people who donated their time, energy and kind gifts and services."

The event was also the launch pad for the World's First Reality TV Pitch Contest, which evolved from two of today's hottest pop culture icons, reality TV and online auction forum, eBay who joined forces to make history and help at-risk children and their families.

The first face-to-face meeting with Los Angeles studio executives and reality TV show decision-makers was auctioned off at the event raising $3,000. Simultaneously, a worldwide launch took place on eBay at inviting reality TV fans or wanna-be-producers to bid on the first phase of sixteen, 10-minute face-to-face meetings with reality TV executives.

The next phase begins on March 30 at 10 p.m. PST and the final phase on April 2 at 10 p.m. PST. High bidders will be invited to L.A. in May to pitch their ideas to 3 Ball Productions, producer of the hit reality show For Love or Money. One finalist will then be invited to wow a major Hollywood television network studio and convince them to turn his or her idea into America's next new reality series.

All proceeds from the event and the eBay auctions will go toward the P.S. I Love You Foundation, a 501C3 non-profit organization dedicated to assisting at-risk Southern California children through an array of education and community outreach programs. The bidding on eBay is in process and will continue until April 5.

"What better way to raise funds and awareness for one of our community's most visible needs, than with some of today's most visible pop culture influencers," said Jones. "For so many at-risk kids, living in or near poverty level within a one-parent or no-parent family unit is their daily reality. We're hopeful these realities on TV can help make a difference."
