ONEHOPE Wine is about making the world a better place. An elegant wine that hopes to follow in the tradition of
Newman’s Own and
Ben & Jerry’s as successful brands that make a charitable difference.
Jake Kloberdanz, CEO, is way too young to be this motivated. Sitting with him, you feel his precision. Luckily a moment later he bursts into a laugh and a huge grin. He has many reasons to happy.
Noble Beginning
Right out of school (UC Berkley)
Kloberdanz was chased down by
Gallo Wines and has been working in beverages ever since. But that wasn’t enough. He says, “I started thinking about what I could give, rather than what I could get, I found that [thought process] created a better result.” And his entrepreneurial journey began.

A main motivation for the company inspires one of his few somber moments. He relates a visit home, several years before starting
ONEHOPE. A childhood friend had become sick and wasn’t doing well. “
Her battle was heroic to me”.
After some rumblings and thought, he had a breakthrough and realized what he had to do. He wanted to bring awareness, he wanted to bring help. He wanted to bring hope.
Hope is Where it Begins
“Wine isn’t a spectator sport, it opens discussion”. You pour some glasses among your friends and you enjoy and discuss. “Whoever bought it, or maybe they read the label, they see which cause they’re helping”. It may illicit reactions, personal stories. More than all it’s awareness and contribution.
ONEHOPE donates a portion of sales to the chosen charities. It’s that easy. You’re at the store and need some Chardonnay, find the
Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer label and know your money is going to make a worthwhile difference.
In total, their charities include
AIDS,
autism,
breast cancer,
supporting the troops and
supporting our planet. A wide array, to be sure, yet they’re still growing. Not only does
ONEHOPE offer every varietal your palette desires. But also every cause your heart may believe in.
ONEHOPE, One Team
Kloberdanz has a way about him. As he explains pulling together the people, it very much resembles an all-star team.
“Eight people founded the company and all eight of us live the brand”. So what does the
ONEHOPE brand stand for? Integrity. Young, energetic and caring.
