The Boys & Girls Club members of Buena Park were treated to a Peanuts™ Ice Cream Social luncheon at Carrows Restaurant to help celebrate National Ice Cream day.
The luncheon provided 18 children from the Boys & Girls Club of Buena Park the opportunity enjoy a great afternoon as Carrows and Knott’s Berry Farm’s Camp Snoopy teamed up to sponsor this event.
The children received lunch followed by a great way to celebrate National Ice Cream Day by making their own sundaes and they were also given gift bags. The gift bags were filled with goodies help them have a fabulous summer, they received Peanuts™ DVDs and free tickets to Camp Snoopy at Knott’s Berry Farm.
What Peanuts™ day would be complete without Snoopy and Charlie Brown. They both showed up to pictures and hang out with the children and in addition the afternoon was completed with an inspirational talk from a long-time Carrows employee. The speech focused on overcoming challenges and pursuing a successful career and combining all the efforts of the Boys & Girls Club of Buena Park, this was sure to motivate these children to accomplish great things in their lives.
