Divine Design 2005 Honor Ryan Seacrest and Tisha Campbell Martin

On November 30, 2005 Ryan Seacrest and Tisha Campbell Martin were honored as "Man of Style" and "Woman of Style" at Divine Design 2005. Project Angel Food credited them for their outstanding contributions to international style and the fight against AIDS and other serious illnesses at the opening night gala. The event, hosted by Eric McCormack (Will & Grace), which took place inside the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica offered thousands of trendy shoppers high fashion and stylish goods at charitable prices.

Those lucky to attend the opening night event got a first hand opportunity to check out The R Line, Ryan Seacrest's new contribution to fashion. The collection features shirts that reflect a Hollywood relaxed weekend vibe which will be sold many high end shopping spots including Fred Segal and Scoop. The "Man of Style" has recently made many notable career successes making him a household name as the host of American Idol. Most recently Ryan will take over once Dick Clark retires as the host of the annual special on ABC from New York's Time Square.

Avid shoppers in Barker Hangar

Divine Design 2005 was a avid shopper's dream experience completely overwhelming the attendees with apparel, shoes, bags, and furniture. Absolut Vodka quenched the shoppers and may have led to more maxed credit cards. Present at Barker Hangar were some of the most notable designers including Maidenform Brand, Inc., Michael Stars, Hello Kitty/Sanrio, Trina Turk, Baby Einstein, Christopher Radko, The Dock Downtown, Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams, Nicole Miller, Belle Gray, The R Line, and Chip and Pepper. In addition, there was special performances by Cirque du Soleil's Zumanity whereby VIP tickets for its Las Vegas Show was auctioned off. The winning bidder luckily overshot my $750 bid by $50.
