LASplash.com: Los Angeles Charities Days of our Lives Celebrity Basketball Game - A Roundball Benefit By Stephan Martin The Days of Our Lives cast helped put on James Reynolds 18th Annual Days of our Lives Celebrity Basketball Game on Friday, June 1st. The game benefits the South Pasadena High School Boys basketball program and the Pasadena Ronald McDonald House.
James was unable to host the event as he underwent heart valve replacement surgery, but he is doing very well and the event went on just as planned with James son Jed taking over the duties as host of the event.
'This means a lot to me and it means a lot to my dad,' Jed Reynolds said. 'It's sad he's not her tonight, but at the same time I know he's very proud and happy that we were able to put it on."
The game featured two full teams of cast members including; Bryan Dattilo, Arianne Zuker, Martha Madison, Rachael Melvin, Billy Warlock, Darin Brooks, Jay Kenneth Johnson, Tanya Boyd, Stephen Nichols, James Scott, Blake Berris, Brandon Beemer, Rhashaan Orange, Patrika Darbo and Julie Pinson.
The fans were treated to an exciting, competitive game and also had the chance to meet some of the members of the cast. Fans also were able to participate in a silent auction and had the chance to win one of several autographed items in a raffle. This is certainly an event to mark down on your calendar for next year, if you are a Days of Our Lives fan you will not find a better chance to be up close and personal with the cast, while also benefiting two great groups.
