âCreative Collisionâ Big Time Rush benefit for Seconds Hunger Reliefâ
This is the season for giving and sharing--the Christmas holidays are a time for family, merriment and experiencing the heartfelt goodness of community with our fellow man.
Joining in this in spirit of sharing, Big Time Rush appeared at Cinespace nightclub, located at 6356 Hollywood Blvd., Los Angeles, California 90028 in support of Seconds Hunger Relief. Seconds Hunger Relief began their mission four years ago with an undertaking of providing hot meals to those in need. Through a network of supportive food suppliers and enthusiastic volunteers, they continue to expand their outreach throughout Los Angeles county.
Seconds Hunger Relief co-founder, Habib West, recently stated, "Iâm very pleased that Big Time Rush is helping Seconds Hunger Relief get the message out to a broader spectrum of the community. Growth of our donor base is the next chapter in our mission to help those that need it the most, and we are sure that Creative Collision will prove successful in raising awareness.â
Hosted by Hannah Montana co-star Cody Linley, the â Creative Collisionâ event featured a Red Carpet, live musical performances by â Big Time Rushâ, a celebrity fashion show and a silent auction. The focus of the event was to raise funds and awareness for those shelters and affiliated organizations that rely on the donations that are distributed through the Seconds Hunger Relief charity. The price of admission for those attending the eveningâs function? A pair of shoes to be donated to those in need.
Brad Brisbin of Spotlight Public Relationships joined in partnership with Steven Harlow to make this event a success. The two teamed up to bring the message of this organization to the public at large and encouraged them to join an array of celebrities that were in attendance to lend their support to Seconds Hunger Relief.
Tim Gavin of DVS shoes donated over 50 pair of new tennis shoes that will be autographed by notable celebrities and auctioned off at an upcoming charity event scheduled to take place after the new year.
Celebrity guest Daisy De Laya Hoya, an avid supporter of Seconds Hunger Relief, was excited to join the event. Giving unselfishly of her time, she was also one of the first celebs to add her signature to a pair of DVS shoes. In a statement released though her publicist, Daisy stated âAll I want for Christmas this year is for all of the children and puppies of the world to have safe and beautiful livesâŚ..and if Santa wants to help get me on Dancing With The Stars thatâs okay tooâŚ.â
In the event that Santa is reading this article and would like to contact Daisy about her appearance on â Dancing With The Starsâ he may contact [email protected].
