19th Annual For Our Children Food & Wine Festival April 25th

The For Our Children Board is in full swing planning the 19th Annual Chez Melange For Our Children Food and Wine Festival.  Over 40 restaurants and wineries participate in this popular South Bay event.  For Our Children event proceeds will benefit Little Company of Mary's Partners for Healthy Kids Mobile Pediatric Van and Sandpipers South Bay Charities. 

 The Partners for Healthy Kids Pediatric Van is celebrating its tenth year of helping students.  Last year the van provided more than 20,000 free patient visits to children.  The van travels to school sites each week, providing free diagnosis and treatment of acute medical conditions, immunizations,

health education, and screenings.  The Sandpipers South Bay Charities assisted over 25,000 individuals in the South Bay last year through various programs including back to school shopping for disadvantaged students, scholarships to college bound students, holiday baskets to families in need, and many other wonderful programs. 

 

 

This year's For Our Children Food and Wine Festival will be held on Sunday April 25th at 20911 Earl St. in Torrance (across from Little Company of Mary Hospital).  The theme for this year's event is Oceans of Love and the master of ceremonies will be food critic, Merrill Shindler.  There will be live and silent auctions

Founder and Chef Robert Bell offers up a dinner prepared in your home for you and 10 of your closest friends for the live auction at the 2003 event.

as well as a raffle for a Mini Cooper which was  provided by Nick Alexander Imports.  Preferred seating ($120) begins at 2:00 p.m. and general admission($90)begins at 2:30. Live auction will take place at 5:00 p.m. and the event will end at 6:00 p.m.
