Travelling the world, exploring the lush planet as led by God's instruction , provided by Divine provision while laying hands and miraculously healing and prophecy over those you are guided to ? Now that's quite a life for the individual to lead and walk on their own.
So what does it take to throw the caution of the world to the wind, relinquishing all pragmatics in order to heed Divine Instruction ?
The first essential ingredient is most definitely Boldness.
And the second which really come before the first is a true zeal for the Bible. Feasting in the word of God is what creates a zeal to share a message that is really excellent news. After all, with God all things are impossible. That mean's the entire universe and all of creation becomes the Believer's domain. Now wouldn't it be fascinating to take that scripture as one's absolute truth and live it , walk , breathe it and see it play out as being unwaveringly certain in one's life ?
It sure sounds like Living the Miraculous ...
Thomas Fischer is one such individual who is doing just that. Living the miraculous, doing what is unimaginable to most while witnessing the radical on a regular basis. In fact it’s his lifestyle.
He is a minister, evangelist and healer who travels the world freely led by the Holy Spirit. Having spent over 21 years committed to the Lord, he took a path of singlehood and celibacy for 171/2 years as he went deep in obedience. Thomas Fischer has been a Christian, committing his life to the Lord for over 21 years. The driving force of his ministry is in receiving the purity of God’s word as well as the pursuit of excellence.
One thing that’s clear about this man is a burning passion for purity and for preaching the Gospel. There is definitely no inhibition here when it comes to God’s message. None whatsoever !
Tom says that his drive is focused on keeping the Gospel Pure, receiving revelation directly from the Holy Spirit and so his passion is for a balanced message. Says Tom, “ I believe the message of the Gospel is being corrupted and I am driven to make sure that the definition of Grace remains true. Peter speaks of the True Grace of God in 1Peter 5:12 “ With the help of Silas whom I regard as a faithful brother, I have written to you briefly encouraging you in testifying that this is the true grace of God. Stand fast in it .
Like a tale straight out of a movie, several years ago, after a dramatic baptism of the Holy Spirit that grabbed his hands and imparted a rush of energy into each hand, Thomas received the ability to deliver supernatural healings. He chose to use this gift to the fullest, boldly walking the streets, talking to stranger he feels lead to around the world.
Today, this unassuming, gregarious and warm individual leads a life quite like any other and had given his life to serve the Lord to both heal and minister to those in need. Where is he based ? Just about everywhere he is called, whether it involves a plane, train or automobile, he picks up and obediently moves ! And how do these funds come ? In every possible way you can imagine that God could supply his modern day apostles. One such means is through his online youtube ministry that funds most of his journey. Every day is an exercise in faith, one that draws him ever closer to building his trust.
Tom has ministered to thousands who were healed of cancer, tumours, hepatitis, diabetes, arthritis, paralysis, irregular heartbeat, cysts, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, various pregnancy issues, sight and hearing issues. He has seen all forms of pain leave. He has also seen and felt bones move, dental cavities fill themselves and a breached baby turn over, as order is once again restored within the body in Jesus name. Additionally, Tom is actively involved in deliverance work, casting demons out of the lives of the afflicted.
But why does preaching the gospel come with signs, wonders and miracles? Why is the miraculous so deeply enmeshed in powerful ministry ?
Thomas explains, "When someone experiences a real supernatural sign, they always listen closely to what is being said by the person who was able to deliver the sign. I don't need to be some slick preacher who knows how to deliver an amazing oration with flowing words. God uses the simple to confound the wise. Paul was an amazing man of God who admitted to not being a great speaker, but people listened to him because he knew the one who performs mighty miracles. 1 Corinthians 2:4 says, " And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom but in demonstration of the Spirit and of Power".
He goes onto shares, " If I get myself into a situation with someone and God does something supernatural for them, I want that person to walk away thinking " wow, if he could do this, so can I". The last thing I want, is for someone to walk away being impressed with me and thinking that they need to be real slick to do this too. “
So the Believer must exhibit these signs, wonders and miracles too ... ?
Says Tom, “all Christians are suppose to fulfill The Great Commission. Here is The Great Commission: Matthew 28:18-20- Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Tom explains, “What I want to point out about this text is what Jesus told the apostles to obey. Jesus taught the apostles how to heal the sick and cast out demons and then sent them out to do the same thing. We as Believers . have a responsibility to live up to the truth that we have in us because we are witnesses for Jesus Christ. We’re supposed to walk like him and look like him and be a witness to the world. The world should see us and say “ There’s something different with them, him or her. We should stand out, for we are lights shining in a dark place. That’s my goal to help Christians come into the fullness of who they are, understanding what Jesus has done for them, knowing who they are in Christ and being able to receive and walk in all the benefits of being a Christian.”
He says, “Referring back to the great commission, we see that the apostles are supposed to teach disciples what they were taught. So, being as I am a disciple, I teach others how to witness and heal the sick through videos and notes. I want to show that bringing God's healing power to people on the streets is an excellent way to evangelize and every Christian can do this. God bless every Christian who answers the call of the great commission. I thank them for wanting to obey the commands of the Lord. “
It's not often that one meets a true disciple of Jesus. Now that’s living the miraculous !
