LUCKYRICE Feast Los Angeles Review - All-You-Can-Eat Gourmet Asian Cuisine!

Thursday, August 7th Hollywood’s Create Nightclub opened its doors to provide a trendy space for the 3rd Annual LUCKYRICE™ Asian cuisine festival. Hosted by Sang Yoon (Father’s Office, Lukshon, Top Chef Masters), the night celebrated diverse groups of gourmet Asian foods of pure delight. Accompanying each dish was a mixture of cocktails served featuring the lavish gin of Bombay Sapphire EAST.

Entering the festival for the first time (with V.I.P. tickets) an hour earlier than general admission, my husband and I were instantly greeted by three lovely traditional Asian women with reddish colored cocktails. Having my first taste of the cocktail I looked at my husband and said, “This is delicious! This is going to be good night!”

With so many options available from the participating chef and restaurant vendors, we decided to begin trying dishes served on the outside patio before entering the main room. The outside patio consisted of both food and cocktail sections that were very delicious. From Asian sushi, ceviche to pork tacos I felt like I had landed in food heaven. My husband had to remind me to pace myself, saving room for the rest of the numerous featured vendors!

We decided it was time to move on and experience the inside part of the venue. I was genuinely impressed by the entire atmosphere, with three bars and two large areas upstairs and on the main level featuring innovative and traditional Asian cuisine with a flavorful variety of cocktails. Surely enough, I wasn’t the only one as I met guests throughout the evening who raved about how rich their experience had been trying so many different drink and cuisine offerings.

I found the feast to be extremely tasteful, providing new, unique experiences for food lovers. I am overjoyed my husband and I were able to experience it this year. LUCKYRICE™ Feast will be stopping in San Francisco September 5th so if you are in the Bay Area and would like to experience and taste decorative foods and drinks that are savory and garnished to say the least, this is an event that can’t be missed!
