Happy Hour Los Angeles - Making Your Taste Buds Happy

Happy Hour used to be a flavorless tap beer to go along with some not so fresh wings. Well that is all changed, now the bar has been raised and Happy Hour is truly happy with some of our favorite Southern California spots.

Classic Old Fashion

Craft Hill happy hour takes place from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the bar and lounge. Craft Hill is always coming up with the finest in craft beers and they knock off two dollars during happy hour, they also offer glasses of sustainable wine for only $5 an d if you love an Old Fashion, Craft Hill has three varities that all come in at $6 apiece. Choose from the Kentucky, Jalisco and Iowa varities and you never know what you will get for the $7 "Bartenders Choice", but I can guarantee that it will be fabulous

Spicy Sausage Pizza

The saying goes, if it looks too good to be true, it usually is. That is not the case at Craft Hill, as the happy hour food menu is simply as good as it gets. There is no item over $10 and the lineup is so vast you will keep coming back time and time again. You can choose from Blackberry Pork Belly, cheeky tots that include Braised Beef Cheek, a wide variety of their amazing pizza and a grass-fed burger for only $10.

Drago Centro, in Downtown LA, features its robust happy hour from open to close in the bar, lounge and on the patio. The menu features $9 cocktails like the Aperol Spritz and Moscow Mule, and dishes including the $7 Salmone Affumicato with smoked salmon, crème and crostini; $6 Kobe Burgers with mushrooms and fontina; and $7 pizzettes like the Apesto with pesto, ricotta, spinach and bacon; and the Salsiccia with pork sausage, rapini and mozzarella.

Woodland Hill’s XOC Tequila Grill offers happy hour seven days a week from 3-7 p.m., with a menu of Mexican favorites including $6 Margaritas and Kappa Pisco Cocktails; $8 Nachos with fresh tortilla chips layered with pico de gallo, fresh guacamole, refried beans, cheese, jalapenos and sour cream; and $10 Enchiladas with a choice of two cheese or chicken enchiladas, topped with green or red sauce and served with refried beans.

Chianina Steakhouse in Long Beach is home to some of the best steaks in all of California, but also to an amazing happy hour. It begins with the THE CHIANINA BEEF BURGER with cheese or something simple done as well as their ONION RINGS with house-made dressing, and of course, the delicious STEAK AND FRITES. Chianina also picks a different spirit each week and use it in a collection of unique cocktails, available that week only.


Hollywood hotspot Yamashiro in Hollywood is giving Angelenos one more reason to stay out late with a new after hour happy hour. The popular "Lucky 7" happy hour offers handcrafted cocktails, sushi, and light Asian-fusion dishes all priced at $7 each. This special menu is available in the restaurant's indoor lounge, Monday through Thursday from 9 p.m. to closing and will run concurrent with the restaurant's regular happy hour that is available Monday through Thursday from 5 - 8 p.m. in the lounge.
Bites range from ahi poke, crispy chicken, and salt and pepper fried calamari, to banana leaf baked pork spring rolls and crispy chicken from Executive Chef Christophe Bonnegrace. Sushi lovers can enjoy selections including truffle hamachi, spicy tuna crispy rice, pistachio salmon, and the "Reclining Buddha." Guests can also sip on specialty cocktails, including the refreshing "Japanese Slipper" and "100 Year Mai Tai," along with red and white wine, prosecco and draft beer.  New vegan options include marinated grilled vegetables skewer with peanut sauce, teriyaki tofu and vegetables, and steamed vegetable dumplings.
