Zaks Wine Pub and Restaurant

Pizzeria Limoncello

There is so much happening on Soi 11 in Bangkok we had to pick it up again here in part 11.   Last we were at Zaks Wine Pub and Restaurant and just behind them, down a small alley is Pizzeria Limoncello, a family owned Italian restaurant serving contemporary and traditional Italian food and probably the best pizza in town.

The Australian Pub

Back on Soi 11 we head down to the Australian Pub.  This is a fun spot with non-stop soccer action on multiple large screens located throughout the restaurant.  Their specialty dish is crocodile kebab served with the tasty fries!

A few more restaurants and pubs worth mentioning and then we’ll get to the hot spots for the evening.  AVA Pub is one of the nicest boutique pubs on the Soi.  The interior is tastefully done with an Italian theme.  Upstairs is a single pool table and great balcony to relax and look down on the street action.  They have nice selection of imported wines and full bar.

Chilli Culture Thai Kitchen

Further down the Soi is Chilli Culture Thai Kitchen  nice atmosphere, you can sit inside or out and the food is authentic and spicy!  Across the street is Marshmallow, the newest spot on the street…

Nest Chill Bar

Okay now if you want to chill out with a nice beverage and great view of the city skyline head up to the roof top chill bar Nest, located on the top of a very contemporary boutique hotel Le Fenix.  Down the Soi just a ways is Above 11 with an even more spectacular view of the city.  Great diner and live Jazz every Thursday night.

Q Bar

Now if you want to burn off some calories, head back down to Q Bar on the Soi.  It originated in Vietnam and then the owner decided to move to Bangkok where it has been a clubbing institution since 1999.

If you just want to relax and hang out watching the street actions you can park yourself at one of the many converted VW bus bars that park on the streets.  These are amazing, all fitted out for a total rolling entertainment bar complete with disco balls, electro lights, pumping sound systems and full on bars.

Raintree Spa

The next day if you need to recover from a long evening I recommend treating yourself to a relaxing massage at Raintree, located in the middle of the Soi. This was another private residence converted into what it is now, a relaxing interior with waterfalls and soothing Thai music.  A great way to end the week!

So there is Bangkok’s Soi 11!  There is even more with new hotels and new night spots opening all the time.  Well worth a stop by. To get there while in Bangkok take the BTS Skytrain to Nana Station and Soi 11 is just short walk away.
