At the heart of Cyclades, with a culture and a civilization going back thousand of years, Mykonos invites you to discover all the fun in life. Mykonos is the most famous of the Cyclades islands. It is the island, where tradition and enjoyment go hand in hand. Apanema Resort welcomes you to have the most luxurious & indulging experience you can have on an island like this!

Apanema Resort is perhaps the most stylish and at the same time warm welcoming boutique hotel in Mykonos. It is located above the old port and has an amazing view of the Aegean sea. For those who are looking for a private and refined location, Apanema Resort is a set away from the island’s vibrant lifestyle, being the ideal refuge for a romantic atmosphere with a unique panorama.

The hotel has only 17 rooms (and suites), offering intimate, elegant and relaxed surroundings. It is located in the Tagoo area of Mykonos, directly on the waterfront with its unforgettable sunsets and views of the nearby Delos Island; but it is also extremely close to the animated town of Mykonos which can be reached on foot in less than 15 minutes.

All the rooms are extremely roomy and spacious and have at least 3 windows in addition to the balcony doors making the rooms still lighter and sunnier, a feature that gives the Apanema a touch of class above all other accommodation on the island. The rooms all come with king size beds, except for those few with single beds. All rooms have showers except one with a bath for those who prefer it. All bathrooms are fitted with a hairdryer and luxury Pascal Morabito Paris toiletries and guests will find bathrobes and slippers for use during their stay in their room. There are three types of room: standard, superior and suites, which are categorized according to their size and to the partial or full sea view. The hotel is structured so that no room remains without a sea view and none give onto the back of the hotel. All the rooms have their own character and seem to be totally separate from one another; the guest can never feel as if he is in an anonymous room of a large hotel. Each room has individually controlled regulated air conditioning, heating, colour TV, DVD player, direct dial phone, free high speed WIFI, safety deposit box, mini-bar, writing desk. On request, it is possible to have a non smoking room (subject to availability), an additional bed or cot, iron with ironing board, all at no extra charge.

The Apanema Resort restaurant is centrally situated in the hotel complex with a splendid sea view and gives directly on to the infinity swimming pool. Some tables are located inside and others outside, where the alternating of white and wood create a perfect harmony with the sky and sea. It is here that you can begin your day, following the previous night’s entertainment, with a splendid a la carte, full continental breakfast, prepared according to your preferences, until lunchtime! Guests have the choice to enjoy their breakfast in their room or in the swimming pool area. The restaurant is a true delight for your senses. It offers an instinctive and refined cuisine inspired by the best products and flavors of Greece. Using products of excellent quality, the chef creates original and colorful dishes with an incomparable taste. The bar is located next to the restaurant near the infinity swimming pool, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a refreshing cocktail, a glass of champagne or your preferred drink.

The open air swimming pool of the Apanema Resort, with a children’s pool located directly alongside, gives you the opportunity to have refreshing dip or to keep fit. From there, thanks to the infinity effect it seems that you are swimming directly in the Aegean Sea. Comfortable sun loungers with shady umbrellas are located directly next to the pool and towels for the guests are provided in this area.

The multilingual staff at the reception is always ready to help guests until late in the evening and should you need assistance at night there is a night porter available. You can get any tourist information you might need, consult tourist guides and maps of the island, and book excursions. Secretarial services are also available, a fax machine, luggage storage, and currency exchange.

Myconos, as an island almost totally lacking in vegetation, is famous for its beautiful beaches, its natural beauty, buzzing nightlife and the extremely interesting archaeological site of the island of Delos.

The beaches all being of a different style, from white sand to golden sand, to pebble beaches, make you feel like you are in heaven. The most fashionable are extremely well organised and equipped but the more secluded and simple beaches can easily be reached, where their natural beauty is totally in tact.
All of them are easily accessible by public bus services or by boat.

The colours on Mykonos remain impressed in one’s memory, not only for the sunlight that tinges each tonality of the sky and sea but also for the stark white of the houses with their coloured window frames, the small church domes and the pink pelican that waddles around the town centre.
The area known as Little Venice gives directly on to the sea, its houses with balconies and verandas once allowed the ships’ captains who lived in them to have direct access to their boats. To crown all of this is the island’s distinguishing feature: the characteristic windmills lined up above the town centre.

Today the centre of Mykonos is exclusively pedestrianised and one discovers one shop after the other, bars, restaurants, clubs and discos, where all tourists can assuredly find something for his taste. It is for this reason that Mykonos is frequented by the internationally famous, from TV and film stars to politicians, from those in the fashion world to jet setters. But students and families have also made it their ideal location. At sunset, the excited buzz begins in the labyrinth of narrow streets, all remaining open until the early hours of the morning and even until the first light of dawn. From the local artisan shops to the well known fashion boutiques, from the characteristic Greek tavernas to the more refined international cuisine, from the small typical bars to the larger and more elegant ones: Mykonos has a vast range on offer for all tastes. The is all without forgetting that nature also plays an important role on Mykonos, offering you more that 300 days a year of sunshine.

Delos, the holy island of the ancient Greeks and said to be the birthplace of Apollo, is easily reached from Mykonos. It was the most important religious centre of the Aegean and an important commercial port. Today, its ruins constitute one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece, a vast open-air museum. The visit to Deleos is unforgettable, particularly in the spring when wildflowers are in bloom.

The excellent service of Apanema Resort completes the picture of a perfect holiday.
The professional staff are at your disposal until the early hours of the morning, offering a high standard of service and the reception staff are always happy to help you make your every wish come true and are more than pleased to offer you any assistance concerning your travel arrangements or sightseeing on Mykonos.

The hotel organizes a shuttle service to and from the airport/port. Bike, motorbike and car rental on site, where you can have free private parking. Last but certainly not least, baby-sitters are available upon request.

This is Mykonos …..relaxation….entertainment…..culture…. sun and sea ….. and most importantly, open to everyone ... and here is the Apanema Resort!
