As part of extending the flight services offered, particularly to the United Arab Emirates and North America,Airberlin began enhancing the level of comfort on board its A330-200 long-haul fleet at the start of this year. In Economy Class, new seats equipped with anti-thrombosis cushions and individually adjustable head rests offer improved comfort. In Business Class, customers can experience fully automatic reclining seats which provide optimum comfort whether passengers are sitting or lying down.

A new in-flight entertainment system is also now standard in both Business Class and Economy Class on the majority of airberlin’s A330-200 aircraft. Each seat is equipped with a monitor, which allows the passenger to choose his own program of entertainment from the wide range on offer. The upgrade of all long-haul aircraft cabins with the new seats and in-flight entertainment system should be completed in August.
