Sheraton Moriah Tel Aviv Hotel Review - We strongly recommend a stay here for anyone spending time in Tel Aviv

Visiting Israel is indeed a special and rewarding experience.  Though this was not our first visit, it was very special, because we were here for a relatives wedding.  Wanting to see as much as our time would allow, we began in Tel Aviv, even though the wedding was in Haifa.

The Sheraton Moriah

Upon  our arrival, we took a cab from the Lod Airport to Tel Aviv, and arrived at the Sheraton Moriah Tel Aviv Hotel.  Walking into the lobby, we were struck by the amazing view of the Mediterranean Sea.

The huge expanse of the panoramic glass window (by Israeli architect Ilan Pifco and British interior designer Colin Gold) provided a wonderful view, but it was watching the sunrise that really captivated us.

On check in at the Sheraton Moriah Tel Aviv Hotel, we were very pleased when we were upgraded to a Junior Suite on the executive floor. This came with the use of the lounge, which is open every day from 7 am to 10 pm, offers a wide range of office services, typing, fax, wireless internet, cellular telephone and car rental, translation services, appointment scheduling and more, all with the assistance of a lounge staff and the most up to date equipment.

Our Junior Suite had a very nice view of the sea, where we watched the boats sailing and people swimming on the beach. The room accommodations were especially nice including a very comfortable bed and cozy chairs in which to relax.

Comfortable Rooms

The large lobby at the Sheraton Moriah Tel Aviv Hotel has a bar, and a place to get snacks or sandwiches. Someone is playing the beautiful Grand piano during the early evening, adding ambiance.  It is a great place to meet with friends and family because it is such a relaxing atmosphere.

The staff was most helpful, and supportive in all ways. We were especially appreciative of the help they gave us in finding area restaurants and giving directions museums and other places of interest.

The sea water swimming pool and sundeck is open daily from April to October, offering hotel guests direct access to the beach and marina

We liked the Sheraton Moriah Tel Aviv Hotel very much and thought it was a great place to stay in Tel Aviv.  It is right on the beach at the Mediterranean Sea and has a nice size sea water swimming pool and sundeck filled with many lounge chairs with umbrellas, allowing one to relax protected in the shade or place oneself in the sun. Another unique feature of the pool and sundeck is that it offers hotel guests direct access to the beach and marina. As well as a health club offers a wide range of exercise machines for your use.

Located within an easy walk to the important Streets in Tel Aviv, it easily allows for shopping or visits to coffee houses and clubs. Walking in this area, we were impressed with how International Tel Aviv is as a city.  We met people from Italy, Spain, Japan, China and several Christian tours from the States. We strongly recommend a stay here for anyone spending time in Tel Aviv.
