The newly built marina will accommodate over 330 boats with the ability to handle lengths of 200 feet and longer offering an inovative prime destination within the Mexican Caribbean. The marina will also allow the inclusion of water sports, including but not limited to, jetskiing and sport fishing through the marina into the ocean.

Puerto Cancun will double the availability of Five Star resort hotel rooms in Cancun's already plush resort community with the addition of 4,000 rooms on untouched beach front property. The first Five Star hotel construction on the site will begin in January. The hotel zone has almost completed installation of its hydro-sanitation and electrical services and telephone lines are already complete. The hotel zone lots will be completed in 2007 eventually offering vacationers access to all of Puerto Cancun's amenities in addition to top of the line spas and wellness centers.
The geographical location provides direct access to over 50 national and international cities, with straight flights to locations in the Americas and Europe. Mega stars and musicians visit regularly and clubs promote well known American and European DJ performances. There is a wide array of shopping opportunities, from fancy boutiques to flea market finds, like Market 28, an extensive local shopping extravaganza set in the heart of downtown, only minutes from Puerto Cancun.
