Dr. Black and patient
|
Dr. Constance Black is a Chiropractor located in Evanston, Illinois. When my 93 year- old Mother came to visit for a month, recently, she complained that her knees were hurting and she was having trouble walking. Several years ago,
Dr. Black had helped me with a knee problem and later she helped my daughter with a shoulder problem, so I asked
Dr. Black if she thought she could help my Mother. She said she would try and that I should schedule an appointment.
During my Mother’s first appointment, she found
Dr. Black’s upbeat attitude and warmth to be an integral and positive part of treatment and it made her feel very comfortable.
Dr. Black spent time listening carefully to my Mothers problems and developed a treatment plan that fit the available time frame and had positive results. Four weeks and eight appointments later my Mother is walking better and has less pain.

For me, the various skills listed above have resulted in pain free, fully functioning knees and reduced allergy symptoms. I was given an exercise regimen that
Dr. Black adjusted as particular problems were eliminated, and some nutritional suggestions that have resulted in reduced allergic reactions and increased energy. Other patients have been helped with stubborn back or neck problems or headaches. She has even helped some children with problems of bedwetting and frequent illness.

The gift of good health

It’s always a surprise to come to
Dr. Black’s office for a treatment. Not only are the treatments somewhat different each time, but there is always something of interest taking place. It might be a special, free course or a lecture or a food drive. And
Dr. Black often offers a free treatment in exchange for contributions to many worthwhile charities such as the Food Aid Center of Evanston, homeless shelters, flood and disaster relief and animal shelters. It is very impressive that her office has raised over $26,000 and several tons of food over time.

Chiropractic care has become more accepted in the range of alternative medical treatments that supplement and complement traditional medical treatment. Medical approaches often use chemicals in the bloodstream to change the way your body works, chiropractic focuses on the integrity of the nervous system. The goal of all chiropractors is to reduce stress on the nervous system by the elimination or reduction of subluxations or jammed vertebra. Chiropractic is simple, natural and honors the wisdom of one’s body. Currently, a chiropractic doctor is well educated and passes stringent licensing examinations before earning the right to practice.
It is said that the chiropractic profession has developed nearly 100 different methods to relieve the effects of spinal and nerve damage and I suspect that
Dr. Constance Black can bring forth most of all of these approaches as she sees the need for them. Whether you have a new injury or an old problem that just won’t go away, you can probably benefit from
Dr. Black’s skills and certainly you can gain new and helpful information from her workshops and lectures.
