Verizon Wireless Broadband Review

What if I were to tell you that you can have broadband internet access without wires, cables, phone jacks, or a separate Internet Service Provider? Or if I were to tell you there was a wireless service where you didn't need to hunt down Wi-Fi hotspots?  Sound pretty good so far?

Ready for more? OK, how about if I were to say there is a wireless network where you can quickly download complex files and view email attachments with average download speeds of 400-700 kbps capable of reaching up to 2.0Mbps?

Excited yet? Oh, but there's more.  I'm talking about a wireless service that is the nation's largest high-speed wireless network with coverage in over 180 major metropolitan cities.

All right, already, who is this network? Well if the title of the article hasn't given it away yet, it's Verizon. Verizon Wireless Broadband.  'Can you hear me now?'

I recently have had to do a lot of traveling.  Which means working on the road.  Which means I needed a mobile office. So first off I got my ultra-sexy, ultra-light Averatec notebook computer, with built in wireless capabilities. But I found it a major frustration to be on the road on deadline and unable to get to a wi-fi hotspot.  I thought there has to be something better than this. And of course it turns out there is, and it's Verizon.

I ordered Verizon Wireless Broadband and in a short time my aircard arrived. All I had to do was plug it into my laptop, load the software and I was ready to go. I've been able to connect and stay connected all over the country. They have access nationwide and if there is an area where you find yourself without broadband coverage then there is the option of their nationwide coverage.

I've absolutely loved the convenience of being anywhere and still being able to access the internet. I've tried it in cars, airports, hotel rooms, theatres, beauty salons, rural areas and yes even coffee houses. I've never had a dropped signal, always had fast speed and with only one exception of an area that was out of the stated coverage, I've always been able to connect to the network.

Another plus is you can manage business and Internet applications with their VZAccess Manager. Everything you need is in a single easy-to-use control panel. You can view usage, connect to the internet, connect to other computer applications like Outlook, Powerpoint, and Word, text, and even email.

Looking for more benefits? There is a flat monthly charge, so you don't have to keep track of how long you are online, there are no separate download or email charges. Everything is straight forward.

If you don't like having an aircard sticking out of your computer you'll be happy to hear there are even new notebooks with BroadbandAccess being built in.

You can purchase your aircard through Verizon wireless stores, online stores and through their website. If you are a current customer with Verizon you can get an even better monthly rate.

To sum up if you want speed, unlimited access, reliability, and excellent connectivity, then give Verizon Wireless Broadband a try. I highly recommend this service.
