Plantronics Voyager 510S a Review

The Bluetooth revolution is here, and the Plantronics Voyager 510 is leading the way.  Within five minutes of putting the headset on, I forgot I was even wearing it.  My last headset was so uncomfortable, it was all I could do not to just chuck the thing.  Eventually I did.  And I'm glad.  Not only is the 510 comfortable, it offers an astounding SIX hours of talk time, and close to 100 hours of standby.

The 510S headset bundle comes with a factory paired base for use with an office desk phone, and all necessary accessories.  Of course, the 510 headset can also easily be paired with any Bluetooth device for wireless access.

(phones sold separately)

The headset's top and boom arm swivel to allow for use on either ear.  The arm extends more than two inches off the headset, ensuring clear speech.  No more, 'I couldn't hear you.  Could you say that again?'  The Voyager comes through crisp and clear, even in noisy environments.  The swivel function allows the headset to conveniently fold up for easy storage when not in use.

The headset couldn't be easier to operate.  Three buttons: Power, Volume, and a single Call Control button that makes for simple call pickup, hang-up, redial, and pairing with Bluetooth-enabled devices.

At around $299, the Voyager 510S isn't the cheapest headset system on the market, but with office and mobile Bluetooth flexibility, great sound, and supreme comfort, it may well be the best.
