During my stay at the Casa Moderna Miami Hotel & Spa, I ate and enjoyed several meals at amuse RESTAURANT & LOUNGE.
amuse RESTAURANT & LOUNGE is Casa Moderna’s house restaurant and they offer a variety of Miami seasonal favorites such as Lamb Chops, Filet Mignon, a 14 oz New York Strip steak and a Boneless organic half chicken, Grilled prawns, Grilled salmon, Branzino, Snapper and Tuna, themes.
AMUSE also offers Appetizers, Hamachi crudo, Pan seared Crab Cakes, Seared sea scallops, spring rolls,grilled skirt steak sweet plantain skewers, and Salads, including the signature Amuse salad, Roastedcandy cane beet, fennel and orange salad, Burrata and heirloom tomato, Caesar salad, Crab and avocado salad.
I was fortunate to enjoy several meals at AMUSE during my stay at Casa Moderna. My first meal, on Thursday, was from the lunch menu. I ordered the Boneless half organic chicken, Roasted with grilled Okinawa sweet potato, glazed Brussels sprouts, sherry and thyme sauce.
The chicken and the purple Okinawa sweet potatoes were delicious. I felt the Brussels sprouts were undercooked. The apple sauce was fine. The boneless half organic chicken had a real wonderful grilled flavor to it. The sherry and thyme sauce was really delicious as well. The Okinawa sweet potatoes added visual pleasure to the plate and were also very tasty. Additionally, a chicken stock, heavy crème, demi-glaze on a reduction with salt and pepper gravy was served. It too was delicious.

My first night in Miami I had dinner at Casa Moderna amuse RESTAURANT & LOUNGE inside the Hotel. I ordered the sea scallops as an appetizer and I received one tea infused drink tea-forte cocktail infused tea in alcohol instead of in water and I got lavender citrus flavored. For the main entrée I ordered a 14oz New York Steak medium rare.
The cuisine is served exactly as detailed on the menu. The evening amuse RESTAURANT & LOUNGE menus are illuminated, like a florescent light, very subtle, very cool, very modern.
I was very pleased with my meal. The scallops were very good, very tender, cooked perfectly. The steak was one big chunk of meat, it was 14oz. It was very well flavored, the potatoes and string beans were delicious.
Located on the 3rd Floor of the Casa Moderna, Amuse is a sexy, sleek, and lively restaurant and lounge showcasing breathtaking views of Biscayne Bay, Museum Park and American Airlines Arena.
While at amuse, don't miss the extensive selection of Signature Cocktails developed by Casa Moderna's in-house mixologist. Each selection delicately blends top-shelf liquors with fresh fruit juices and purees to energize and entertain the senses.
I enjoyed my dining experiences at Casa Moderna’s amuse RESTAURANT & LOUNGE and would highly recommend it to anyone. It was a delicious culinary experience.
