People flock to Las Vegas for the gambling, the nightlife, entertainment and world-class dining, but a big sports weekend can bring people to town like nothing else can. The sports book can be fine for a while, but like everything else in Vegas, you need more, you need more. The Pub at Monte Carlo is that experience, every game, a perfect setting and all the amenities.
The key to Las Vegas or any venue that watch sports is making sure you get to see your team. You are going to run into fans from all over the country and you don’t want to be battling to watch your team. Thankfully The Pub has 35 TV screens and they are located at any and every angle so you are going to catch all of the games. Sunday with the NFL in full force The Pub has every game going highlight by three big screens taking center stage at the front of the restaurant with the biggest games of the day.
You can catch games almost anywhere in Las Vegas, you can even play blackjack and not miss a snap these days so sports fans need a little more incentive to sit down at an establishment and watch a game. The Pub knows what sports fans want, how about more than 300 beers and a lineup of food that would entice any appetite. The fact that The Pub has over 300 beers tells you that they take your beer consumption needs seriously, of course you are going to find your everyday beers that you find anywhere, but they search far and wide for those beers that will your experience truly special. You aren’t likely to find Alaskan Winter Ale at many other Vegas locations and then they will give you a local taste with beers such as Sin City Weiss.
The Pub menu has been created to make sure you know this is anything but your typical sports bar. Sticking with the beer theme, The Pub has created an amazing soup that sounds like it was created for a Green Bay Packer fan, but anyone will love, the Newcastle Brown Ale Beer and Cheddar Soup. The soup has all of the richness of the Newcastle and cheddar while providing you with a heartiness and thickness that will keep you satisfied. Some of the other appetizers that will turn your game day experience into an upscale dining affair include; the lightly breaded calamari, Louisiana crab cakes and the Mac & Cheese that will wow you with smoked gouda, fontina and pancetta cheeses. The rest of the menu at the Pub features; grilled salmon, fish and chips and rib-eye to name a few, but the burgers are what really put the menu over-the-top. “Butches Burger” is as rich as it gets as they combine 50% ground bacon and 50% ground angus beef, one bite and you will know this is not your typical burger. The Pub has a BYOB (build your own burger) menu that allows you create your burger with as much or as little as you like. You can start off with a Kobe beef patty and one of nine cheeses and then go from there. The other favorite is perfect for an early kickoff, the Hangover Cure, which is the classic Pub burger topped with a fried egg.
The Pub not only has one of the best venues to watch sports, when it comes to the NFL, they may very well have the best deal in all of Las Vegas. For 39.95 you can enjoy a buffet at The Pub to go along with all-you-can drink mimosas, Bloody Marys, and a selected beer. The best part of this is if you love Bloody Marys, this is as good as it gets. The Pub has every ingredient you could possibly want in a Bloody Mary, they even have Flaming Hot Cheetos to coat the rim of your glass. The Pub also has some great deals and promotions for Monday Night Football as well as having a Happy Hour from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The one thing to remember about The Pub is that with such an enticing setting, don't always expect to walk up and be seated. Your best bet is to always call and make a reservation, this especially comes into play when there is a big event going on. If you want to be seated on the 50-yard of The Pub viewing area for football come in early and have reservations. March Madness, well this is another level of craziiness. The line starts probably at the point people are coming back from a long night out. The Pub is one place that making that extra effort is worth it. From the amazing beer and food selection, to items such as the adult milkshake and of course first-class service, The Pub is the ultimate when it comes to catching your favorite team.
If you are a sports fanatic and you want one spot to spend all day taking in every game, The Pub at Monte Carlo is the spot for you. Pull up a bar stool, grab a table or venture upstairs, but whatever you do, you won’t be disappointed with anything about The Pub.
