Snack Wagon Takeover at Harvest - Snacking Las Vegas Style

Harvest at Bellagio by Executive Chef Roy Ellamr has quickly become a Las Vegas favorite since opening with an enticing menu based off of seasonal ingredients. Somehow Harvest came up with a way to create an even more extraordinary experience, the Snack Wagon Takeover.

If you have not experienced Harvest yet, one of the real treats of this stunning restaurant inside of Bellagio is the Snack Wagon. Chef Roy puts together a handful of smaller portion items that are only smaller in size as he always seems to come up with the most amazing items for you to choose from. A cart is taken around the restaurant from table-to-table with a variety of items that you can choose from to begin your meal.

While the cart is a real treat, there are a few special dates that Harvest has put together the "Snack Wagon Takeover." On these dates you not only have Chef Roy with his fabulous cart full of goodies, but you can another amazing chef who puts a competing cart with allowing you the opportunity to enjoy two chefs under one roof for a night.

At the end of July, Chef Shawn McClain along with Chef Jamaal Taherzadeh, of the soon to be opened Libertine, were on hand for the Snack Wagon Takeover. Shawn was showcasing his famous Foie Gras Crème Brulee and the pair also introduced guests to some of the tasty creations that will be found at Libertine, including; ahi tuna cones, a tender oxtail sandwich and a stunning combination of caviar, egg and pea puree all brought together in an egg shell. Not to outdone, Chef Roy used some fresh yellowtail to create his Poke Bomb in addition he served a fantastic beet and goat cheese salad and smoked salmon belly. To show you how these special nights go over-the-top, master mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim of Libertine had his own cart to create cocktails such as the Libertine and the beautiful Queens Park Swizzle, which featured El dorado 15 year old rum.
