The Chinese New Year beings January 23rd and this year it is the Year of the Dragon. The Chinese New Year is a celebration of prosperity and good fortune, where better than to find both in Las Vegas. MGM Grand - Grand Wok

Blossom, located inside of ARIA, has put together an amazing special menu to celebrate the Year of the Dragon. Some of the dishes you will find at Blossom include; dried scallop with pea leaves, black moss with oyster, fresh abalone with sea cucumber along with a wide assortment of Cantonese Dim Sum. In addition to the Chinese New Year themed menu, you will also be treated to one of the most beautiful restaurants in all of Las Vegas.

Dragon Noodle Co. & Sushi Bar inside Monte Carlo is celebrating the Year of the Dragon with a special pre-fixed menu. They are going to focus the menu on traditional Chinese cuisine and ingredients, the Chinese New Year menu offers:
Gong Hei Fat Choy, braised dried oyster and black moss with oyster sauce
Ha Ha Smile, manila clam with black bean sauce
Budda Delight – a choice of either:Chinese napa, bean thread, black fungus or black moss, snow peas and Chinese mushrooms

Cravings Buffet at the Mirage

If you really want to indulge, the Cravings Buffet at the Mirage will leave you wanting for nothing. The menu changes every day, so you have it will be impossible for you not to find something you love to eat. To get you started, dinner on the 23rd features; Mongolian Beef, Pad Thai Noodles, Chinese Long Beans with Oyster Sauce, Crab Wontons,  BBQ Pork Fried Rice, Steamed Jasmine Rice,  West Lake Soup, Hot N’ Sour SoupBaby Shrimp & Snow Pea Salad and Thai Beef Salad.

Bayside Buffet

If you are staying at the Mandalay Bay you will want to make it over to the Bayside Buffet. Another buffet taking your typical over the top buffet and making it even better for the Chinese New Year, the Bayside Buffet has added; honey glazed BBQ pork, dim sum special, lotus leaf and chicken wrapped with sweet rice and to finish your meal off for dessert you can try deep fried sesame ball stuffed with sweet red bean paste.
 

The M Resort is celebrating the Chinese New Year in a number of ways, including adding 8 new items to one of the best buffets in all of Las Vegas. Studio B, in addition to their regular lineup, will be adding; Meatballs with Bok Choy, Poached Chicken with Ginger and Scallions, Spinach and Bamboo Shoots, Beef Lo Mein, Tofu and Eggplant with Black Bean Sauce, Lettuce Wraps, Mandarin Oranges with Leaves, Spring Rolls. To kick off the New Year on the 23rd, the M Resort will start the evening with the Dragon Dance at 6pm. A 63' dragon featuring adult and baby lion dancers, buddhas, musicians and festive flags will captivate audiences as it makes its way through the entire casino.
