Sleek Design

I just can’t rave enough about how much I love Sushi Roku.  I adore it in Los Angeles and I adore it in Las Vegas now as well.  Not only is the sushi amazing but the service is time and time again always the best.  I recently paid a visit to Sushi Roku in Las Vegas during lunch time and I wasn’t let down because it is just as good as Sushi Roku here in Los Angeles.  If you’re in a raw mood, I would suggest the Chef’s Sashimi platter with all the favorites on one plate.  The popcorn shrimp appetizer is also mouth watering.  Located on the third floor of the Forum Shop expansion at Caesars Palace, the Dodd Mitchell designed space embodies the minimalist style that is a Sushi Roku signature.  Bamboo, chiseled stone and dark wood décor are enhanced by the atmospheric addition of cascading water.

Sushi Bar

Hip, happening and Hollywood are apt descriptors for the most recent outpost of Sushi Roku in Las Vegas.  Similar to the restaurant’s three sister locations in Southern California regularly visited by the likes of George Clooney, Britney Spears and Charlize Theron, the Vegas version captures a distinct dining essence, one that attracts an a-list clientele.  Sushi Roku opened inside the expansion of the Forum Shops at Caesars in Las Vegas in October 2004 and has been highly acclaimed for a diverse menu and buzz worthy scene.

Our desert was scrumptious

The freshest ingredients are flown in from around the world on a daily basis to create a menu that includes premium sushi and contemporary dishes.  Signature specialties include Yellowtail Sashimi with Ponzu and diced Chilies and the High Roll-er, with sashimi, golden Osetra caviar, baked lobster and avocado.  For those who prefer cooked fare, Colorado Lamb Chops marinated in Soy Garlic or Spicy Jumbo Pan-Fried Shrimp are enticing options.  Dessert offerings include Baked Alaska and a Chocolate Volcano Souffle.

Hip and modern interiors

The sakè list at Sushi Roku has many selections, so the restaurant’s sakè sommelier comes in handy when trying to determine the most appropriate match for both taste and dish.  An extensive wine list complements the offerings of the traditional Japanese beverage.  Keeping up with the bar scene calls for creative cocktails and Sushi Roku delivers with libations including the Sake Blossom and the Pama Shade.

Sushi to die for

Innovative Dining Group’s Sushi Roku and BOA Steakhouse, located at the Forum Shops at Caesars, are at the top of the list for hipsters and celebrities alike.  With locations in Las Vegas, Hollywood and Santa Monica, recent celebrity diners including Charlize Theron, Janet Jackson, Steve Martin and rock band “The Killers,” and celebrity investors including Ryan Seacrest, Tori Spelling and Brett Ratner, the restaurants attract the stylish with their signature dishes, stunning design and sinful cocktail creations.  Whether stopping by for an after-work cocktail to sip and mingle, or sitting down to an exquisite dinner with stunning views of the Las Vegas Strip, Sushi Roku and BOA Steakhouse merge inspired cuisine and décor and keep Hollywood’s hottest coming back for more.

One of my favorite dishes
