Las Vegas is bringing together some of the most famous chefs in world and will be combining their amazing food with a wide assortment of unforgettable spirits for the 3rd Annual Food & Wine All-Star Weekend, October 5-7.


ARIA Chefs at First Course 2010

The 3rd Annual Food & Wine All-Star Weekend will take place at five resorts  on the Las Vegas Strip; Bellagio, Aria Resort & Casino, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay and The Mirage.  which means more world-class sommeliers, more top-shelf alcohol tastings and more parties.

Tequila Tasting Happy Hour: If you tequila is your drink of choice this is the can’t miss event of the weekend. Guests will enjoy over 15 different types of tequila with Chopped Champion Chef Christina Olivarez along with some of the Chef’s culinary specialties. 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. October 5 at Diego Restaurant inside MGM Grand

Wine Tasting and Food Pairing at Craftsteak: This is a rare opportunity to taste the most exclusive wine on the Las Vegas Strip – Ghost Horse Wine. This label was previously only available at Todd Anderson’s vineyard. Now offered at Tom Colicchio’s Craftsteak, Anderson will personally serve his rare Californian wine to patrons in an event not to be missed. 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. October 6 at Tom Colicchio’s Craftsteak inside MGM Grand


Master Sommelier’s Who Make Wine: Five of the 129 Master Sommeliers in North America will be at Bellagio to teach about their adventures of producing their own wine labels – And yes, guests will taste all of their wines too. 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. October 5 at Tuscany Kitchen inside Bellagio


“Ultimate Champagne & Sashimi”: Michelin-starred Chef Masa Takayama will provide ultra-fresh sashimi to complement a tasting of the world’s best champagnes – Stay late for the Toro Caviar, Chef Masa’s signature dish. 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. October 6 at barMASA inside ARIA 


Sweet Strip Viewing: Drink cocktails and eat gourmet desserts with miX Executive Chef Bruno Riou and Executive Pastry Chef Orady Ditgnavong for a party on Floor 64 of THEhotel at Mandalay Bay. 9 p.m. – 11 p.m. October 5 at miX inside THEhotel at Mandalay Bay


 Surfside Soirée: The Las Vegas pool season might be winding down, but this event gives you one last chance to enjoy the beach. Enjoy signature recipes by a collection of the world’s greatest chefs at an extraordinary beachside tasting event at Mandalay Bay Beach. Savor culinary creations from some of Vegas’ most talented celebrity chefs including Rick Moonen, Hubert Keller and Michael Mina. Live music and cocktails will complement the spectacular dishes at an unforgettable Vegas beach party.  7-10 p.m. at Mandalay Bay Beach


All Star Lunch: This is the chance to taste the top restaurants and featured dishes by Food & Wine’s lineup of celebrity chefs including Shawn McClain, Masa Takayama, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Michael Mina and Julian Serrano. To conclude, World Pastry Champion Jean-Philippe Maury will top off guests’ meals with exquisite desserts. 12:30 p.m.  – 2:30 p.m. October 6 at Sage in ARIA Resort and Casino
