Meyenberg's New Gourmet Products Review - Another Gourmet Winner

In my opinion goat’s milk is just more interesting than cow’s milk and for some people it is much healthier.  Luckily there is MEYENBERG, America’s leading producer of goat milk products that recently released two new winning items to its line of gourmet products. Meyenberg’s Crème de Chevre (traditional) and Crème de Chevre with Garlic & Chive are made with a rich, luxurious and luscious goat cream cheese that has a sophisticated and subtle tangy flavor. The distinctive cream cheeses have a high content of premium goat cream resulting in a product that moves beyond the traditional cow milk cream cheeses currently on the market.

Goats are very interesting animals and here are a few myths and legends that they have inspired:

-Goats do not eat tin cans but they like the glue that affixes the labels to the cans.
-Cleopatra, it is legend, bathed in goat milk.
-In medieval times goats were considered the embodiment of evil because they had cloven hooves.
-Goats do not eat garbage..Whew, what a relief!

Young goat is so cute you want it as a pet

All the more reason to enjoy the delicious products they provide. “The flavor is reminiscent of chevres,” says Carol Jackson co-owner of Meyenberg,” but they are lighter, with a delightfully velvety ‘mouth feel.’ Use them as spreads or be innovative by using them as ingredients in sauces and sweet or savory dishes. Both products can add a gourmet’s flair to any dish calling for cream cheese.”

I love the unique taste of these cream cheeses and use them simply, on crackers or in more complex recipes such as:
