Hollywood, CA, New comedy series “Trainers” world premiered at Fox Studios on Thursday May 9, 2013.  Some of the celebrity guests included: Nikki DeLoach, Kelly Stables, Tim Bagley, Brandon Jones, Natalie Lander, Shaka Smith, Ric Drasin, and Doug Brignole. The event was fun and kept its “Trainer” theme by using yoga mats instead of a red carpet.

About the series: Working out has never been so hard in this hilarious new comedy series by independent filmmakers Selah Victor, Michael Onofri and Alexa-Sascha Lewin. TRAINERS follows a band of misfit personal trainers who battle each other, absurd clients, and the threat of permanent closure of their less than lovely LA gym.

The series stars established actors such as Brandon Jones (CSI, Pretty Little Liars, 2 Broke Girls), Natalie Lander (The Middle), Tim Bagley (Will & Grace, 1600 Penn, $#!+ My Dad Says), Alan Blumenfeld (Heroes), Jason Kelley (True Blood, Parks and Rec), and Dominic Rains (Flashforward, General Hospital). “Trainers” series can be seen on www.trainersshow.com and www.comediva.com, as it has now been picked up for distribution by Comediva. In the Fullscreen network, Comediva creates and showcases original video and editorial content for women.

The three episodes represent a proof of concept for the spec single-camera comedy pilot that the creators have written, as well as the entire first season that they have mapped out.
