Sundance is the largest independent film festival in the United States, exhibiting feature-length films, documentaries, shorts, and animation while fostering dialogues among film enthusiasts. The Sundance Film Festival brings the most original storytellers together with the most adventurous audiences for its annual program of dramatic and documentary Films, shorts, New Frontier films, installations, performances, panel discussions, and dynamic music events. Since 1985, hundreds of films launched at the Festival have gained critical recognition, received commercial distribution, and reached worldwide audiences eager for fresh perspectives and new voices. Year after year, the Festival pursues new ways to introduce more people to the most original and authentic storytelling.

From day one to day ten, there are ongoing celebrations surrounding the film openings and special events. 

An Artist at the Table 

A fundraiser and kick-off for the 2015 Sundance Film Festival and an intimate evening to celebrate independent artists and their work. This event includes cocktails with filmmakers, reserved seating at the Day One screening, and dinner with artists.

Salt Lake City Gala and Screening 

Festival goers celebrate the opening weekend in Salt Lake City on Friday, January 23, 2015. One reception and two screenings are held in and around the Rose Wagner Theatre. Invitations and tickets required. The Salt Lake City Gala and Screening is presented by Zions Bank.

Awards Ceremony and Reception 

The culmination of the Sundance Film Festival is the Awards Ceremony. The competition juries, a group of individuals from the worldwide film community with original and diverse points of view, select films from both the documentary and dramatic categories to receive a range of awards. Decided by Festivalgoers' ballots, Audience Awards are bestowed upon films in each of the Festival's four competition categories and NEXT.

Remember that parking near Headquarters is extremely limited, so we recommend you use the free Festival shuttle system.
